Nothing Lasts...A Poem by Abyssmouse...but Nothing is Lost
As in this being so in all else
nothing lasts now, no rivers still. No rootless flora frees of wilt. Nothing lasts where life still dwells. Hence, blood fades with trick of age, no darkened days escape such fate. From this blur within - without there is need to mind such ways. All solid forms are hidden waves. Be ever mindful, wishing off the mouth. As wanting thought is needing set. Nothing lasts, nor good or bad. As in this life so in all else interwoven minute threads fade the line of wishes spoken. Freedom breaks but upon ourselves. What of waking to perfections absence? To strive for less is a lesson in respect of yourself, and all else, in one vessel across. As nothing lasts, but nothing is lost. © 2015 AbyssmouseReviews
