Consonance

Consonance

A Poem by Abraxasbird
"

Sultry

"
Enter my mind:
Flashes of moments of consummate passion,
where my hands run along curve of your hips,
along the side of your stomach, softly searching
for any imperfection, reveling in the fact i've found none

Arrested by breathless impetus, at arm's length,
The barriers upheld by your hands soften, beckon
It's as if your cold ferocity is only a test
purposed to show the true extent of my convex

Here i am now at your side,
at the small of your neck,
the look in your eye subsides
and with my arms at your shoulder,
we are locked in an eternal lovers fight

[And by now you know why...]
