Joe Dirt

A Poem by Abraxasbird
"

Spirit in us

"
Insert something insightful here,
something profound here,
maybe something awe-inspiring
here
and God's just another schmo
with a host of insecurities
and needs.
One more hungry person
potentially fear-full,
potentially tear-full,
potentially anything,
with a slew of burdens
and a vision of paradise
to sate every vice;
another you,
another me,
another refuge,
another somebody,
vulnerable and exposed,
supposedly humble,
reportedly
choleric
prerogative irate,
i.e.
Judgement day.
