Inundation & Outpouring Tears

Inundation & Outpouring Tears

A Poem by Abraham George
"

About the Flood happened in Kerala

"
Alluring brooks of crystal water flowed,
sparkling between their flows strewn banks.
Unflappable confidence the nature have,
monster it became, to quench its thirst.
Spectacular, the view from the top,Snow
perfect, and trails emptied everything we know.
Thrusting aside all the multitudinous deities,
Stepping forward-mortal soul- became heroes.
Outburst, in docile flow, erases a centuries
History and outdistanced tears of melancholy.

Sometimes nature wrecks havoc. When it does, the destruction is matchless. My heart goes out to your beautiful land. I am hopeful the recovery will be fast.

It is my favorite state too. You are welcome Abraham.
You described the pain of the civilians of Kerala so well... It is so sad to think what the people went through and what the beautiful nature can do in just a matter of minutes. And you explained it very well. I liked it.

You're very welcome!
A terrible tragedy. Nature indeed turned into a monster. My thoughts with those who have been rendered homeless.

Though your words are descriptive, I sense the pain in them. Any place where such distress has been caused my heart aches to see the the situation. I hope the scenario is better now.

I know how it feels when a place is flooded...specially when it's your hometown....
I had to leave my home in order to stay safe from the miserable condition after flood occurs...fortunately the heavy flow of water went to the other part of the town and my home was safe but thousand people lost their shelters....

May Almighty helps Kerela and it's people...also to regain it's natural beauty...Ameen :)
