Foolish

Foolish

A Poem by 「Sense of Beauty, Supply and Demand」

Among all the noises, no one hears me cry

The despair that I feel, I’d almost rather die

Your words were like venom, breaking me beyond repair

But god I’d give anything, to feel your fingers in my hair

It seems like it was yesterday when our love was still on fire

But my lover, I can’t tell you when I felt I lost desire

Maybe it was yesterday, when I called you on a whim

But my voice was lost in silence again, and then I felt very dim

My love, you’re my everything, til the end I swear it’s true

Our fighting has me wondering, if you ever even had a clue

All I wanted was to have you, to have you truly see

How much you really mean to me, and how desperate I’ve to be

To lose you in a heated moment, the love that held the key

I wish you would think about it, how often were you there

To understand how upset I’d get if I didn’t always know you cared

It’s sad I just can’t talk to you, and by now we’re finally through

Sometimes it hurts to know I was the fool who fell in love with you
