Purpose

Purpose

A Poem by Terrance
"

a series of dreams I keep having that seems to relate to my life

"

I hear the voices of a thousand suns in an angelic chorus.

I stroll through endless Elysium plains.

I feel all my worries fade away with each step I take; I feel the sun on my face; I see the endless sky of untold truths.

I see a ship that can take off into the sea of clouds, where only dreams remain.

Reality's freedom tries to bind me to the cosmic voids of time

I hear voices from different worlds colliding.

Close my eyes and listen to the lost ones sing into the heavens as I shatter into a million stars that shine brightly into the darkness.

My reality's tenacity forms a divine trinity that establishes my serenity.

In order to explain my duality of morality, I build worlds and ruin them while feeling a sense of serenity.

To grasp my spiritual duality, I collapse into depravity.

I build and kill worlds, feeling both free and enslaved by the origins of my inexhaustible sins and irrationality.

Worlds sway to the beat of a celestial song that reverberates infinity.

My ghosts trail me as I cross humanity's bridges.

Raindrops of gold strike my soul, revealing the madness that is my ambition.

to invent a purpose of transition.

First read of yours Terrance sand I loved it.
I so relate to your words… especially your last verse.
Your use of metaphors are spot on.
