I met this wonderful man, a librarian in a Homeland-Jersey prototype-suburbia (Echelon), Amlan Satan, Slovak-Algerian (Catholic), who became my hubby; but I read his journal (hidden) and it shocked the hell out of this woman (me)...Selfie-like.

AMLAN: I work here many years, good lady (ha).

ME: You're a wonderful host/librarian...I look here for a fantasy-adventure.

AMLAN: We have a wonderful Shannara series, or maybe you're a Tolkien-fan?

ME: I dunno...do you have anything on the Horseman/Headless (Earth)?

AMLAN: Aha, not just American...I do (we do)...follow me, curious one (ha).

ME: Facebook-like.

I took my hubby to a Target (department) store (fitting-room), where he'd been trying-on some 'worldly' styles for late Autumn, when the weather/breeze uneasily shifted between lukewarm-cold to a touch-too cold; and I got him a pink item to match his sentimentalism and he picked his own shades, complete with a nice hat. He looked like a modern Ichabod Crane (damn)...Selfie-like.

AMLAN: What the Hell are you?

HORSEMAN: Headless...whisper!

AMLAN: I can hear you, but you've no head...damned spirit of Jersey.

HORSEMAN: Write, fool.

AMLAN: My (secret) journal shall provide meds for this darkest-hour, specter.

HORSEMAN: Ha.
