Of course, Amlan was a professional bank robber, despite being an (otherwise) erudite American Homeland school-teacher for linguistics/psychology. He was insane (secret!). Danica, the lovely lady-luck was his mock-hostage in 4 separate heists in the East Coast, for him to make the funds to find magic inspiration/energy to write his great American work on baseball-cards and then retire to Brussels with her by Halloween (Selfie-like).

AMLAN: I'm naming this Christine.

DANICA: It's an airplane almost, man.

AMLAN: You were great for my novel concept.

DANICA: Here we are in Europe with a Nissan now, love.

AMLAN: Let's marry (for Earth world).

DANICA: I liked your book-title (The Psychotic Car/Card Salesman).

AMLAN: Thanx (Selfie-like).

Amlan knew his work about finding magic on an airplane showing-off his baseball-cards to a stewardess was raw-magic adjective about human world neuroses 'cured' by sports/media/competition culture trophy collecting for a man-woman share concerning incomplete-arts of (maybe) capitalism symbolism juries (for wanderers!).

AMLAN: These cards will make us Bonnie and Clyde.
