Gambit also knew that Magneto had become a mutant of powers and Professor X's bane and rival for negotiations of the ethical use of mutant powers for capitalism fencing in the American Homeland and would make complex image circulations of sports/competition vanities worries like the terrorism-incident at the Munich Olympics (1972). Gambit chose to use 21st-Century world games imagery for perfect marketing to counter Magneto's will of powers-linked social traffic disorientation for media/lifestyle tall tales.
