Of X-Town Phrasing: Duke & Carolina (Fantasy)A Story by Abishai100Fan-portrait of composition of TV-sports (college-athletics) 'culture' for superstitions and equivalences for iconic rivalry-chandelier.
Duke-UNC rivalry fan diorama for Black Friday (ha), inspired by the American basketball dialysis/superstition film Blue Chips (Nick Nolte). Thanks so much for reading,
---- ==== I'd become a special fan of American TV sports-commentary and found cool interest in the Carolinas after thinking I'd seek a special sociology/writing master's program pursuit in that area and suddenly thought deep about my boyhood-years fascination with the pronounced/iconic Duke-UNC men's college basketball rivalry of incredible mod-civilization 'IQ' for my emerging Selfie-age of life 'linked' nets-storytelling for the Ego (damn). Now, Duke and UNC had hoisted countless rivalry-theater games for the modern Earth (American Homeland) TV audiences composed of students and teachers and fans alike! In fact, there'd been so many darn Duke-UNC rivalry 'events' for TV that I didn't decide which one to make mark for my cyber-storyboard about this timeless tale of basketball chess-stalemate excellence for Western citizenry (wow). This was excellent fantasy (for all). In fact, there'd been so many Duke-UNC showdowns in the ACC (conference) and national levels (regular-season and March Madness NCAA tourney) that I had to find some season in which 2 (not 1) showdown would reflect this equivalences in fanfare storytelling for wings and pizza (ha). I decided to mark the '92-93 season of men's college basketball ACC games, during which the post-championship earning Duke Blue Devils had much to prove for TV-fans after losing key seniors/athletes to the NBA Draft (wow). During this '92-93 season, the Blue Devils were marshaled by their choreography-wizard guard Bob Hurley...and their emerged UNC Tar-Heels rivals were prone to offer serious daring contest-windows of challenge. Well, that '92-93 season offered us TV-audience folks 2 special games, and each one boasted a handsome/dashing victory, but one went to Duke...and the other to UNC (wow). Well, this was why I had become an Earthling/American diplomat of cyber/media commentary culture of the toys of sportsmanship lines of cool derivatives. On February 3 (1993), the Duke team downed the ambitious and well-coached Tar-Heels by an impressive and controlled score of 81-67. This was really great; and I confessed in humility that since I'd been biased for Duke media/imagery, I was thrilled to see Blue-Devils guard Bob Hurley churn out a nice canvas for his team's trumpeting a triumph in this timeless sports-rivalry cinema (for stories!). On March 7 (1993), the Duke-UNC rivalry moved to North Carolina's home-field advantage, where the vengeance-consciousness UNC team managed to achieve a strong and boasting 83-69 reversal-of-fortune win, in that very-same season/year of readings of rivalry/fanfare superstitions of sports storyboard intelligence for students and poets (damn). READER: You cited the 2/3 and 3/7 Duke-Carolina games for reverse-score. ME: Well, it's surely the truth that Duke won 1 and UNC won 1, huh? READER: Why this collegiate-windows for rivalry superstition and TV-wars? ME: Well, for our emerged Earth-time of cyber-chats, it's social democracy. READER: Social democracy? ME: While I was composing this faerie-tale, I was ghost-haunted (dreams). READER: You were visited by ghosts while sleeping...you're Hamlet? ME: Look, this Duke-Carolina art has become an Earthling transit chalk. READER: Antiterrorism. ME: Equivalence in vanities make for surefire cool books/marks, sure. READER: Facebook-like (fair-for-fare). "Doing well is the result of doing good.
