Haddonfield/Goblin: American QuickeningA Story by Abishai100Portrait of American-town inventions in superstition and storytelling for a modern Sleepy Hollow like chandelier.
World transit/hospitality superstitions tale.
---- ==== The American pedestrian-quaint town of Haddonfield is where a special crayon avatar of the Goblin appeared in the Autumn, prompting some serious-talk about incomplete-distances readings to the securities feelings of modern Earth in 21st-Century arenas of troubles for environment consciousness. Mr. Amlan Satan, resident of Haddonfield and cyber-poster of the Goblin, kept himself anonymous for the storyboard about imagined invasions/terror for post-9/11 era securities feelings facilitative of modern millennium commerce, consumerism, hospitality, and thermals. READER: The Goblin represents some homegrown/Homeland terrorism? SATAN: Sure. READER: It's symbol-reflection for the American harvest superstitions, eh? SATAN: Didn't you ever gloss the Farmers' Almanac, reader? READER: So, Haddonfield's become your Selfie-aura of superstition/paranoia. SATAN: Sure (Facebook-like). The Goblin really was offbeat. The simple child-like crayon-stick doodle of a glider-soaring (explosive!) pumpkin wielding specter of the Haddonfield Autumn night-sky cast Mr. Amlan Satan, its doodling-creator, as a sort of street-fun version of Thomas Nast himself, and he wanted folks to compare this creature-avatar to past American folk-Golems (of 'concern') like the Unabomber and the Headless Horseman (sure). Well, for Amlan, the Goblin was the key for post-9/11 era Haddonfield-town pedestrian hospitality cleats for superstitions of invasion and terror and disorientations of everyday life (or consumerism!). Sure, we'd seen post WWII-era Roswell oriented domain controls paranoia linked American culture 'hype' for the Ego; this was a time of lifestyle/Selfie culture inventions of the heart, and Haddonfield had become Amlan's special 'Sleepy Hollow' for all things glassy, glossy, and of course, weird.
