'83 Cricket {Lords-of-Chandelier}A Story by Abishai100Sports culture 'IQ' casts shadows of medicine-superstition in this (fictional) portrait of bat-and-ball linked Earthling shine for windows.
1983 World Cup cricket portrait of interest for this October season of great Western sports (football/baseball). Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: This work of sports fiction contains images/references with no ties to any person(s)/body (e.g., Sunil Gavaskar) and is therefore cast as purely a 'personal' expression for social arts (for 'open' interpretation). ---- ==== Mr. Amlan Satan found special reason to endorse a cool cyber-conference for fans concerning a pronounced 1983 World Cup cricket-theater semifinal engagement between India and England that yielded an exciting laurel for the Indian side and drew interest from a mysterious Irish investor-lady named Shelbye O'Hara (Facebook-like). SHELBYE: Gavaskar fan, boy? AMLAN: Surely. SHELBYE: India and England have rich history for record. AMLAN: In cricket too. SHELBYE: I've a wayward Irish sister I have distance for sanity, ha. AMLAN: You're a good Catholic. SHELBYE: This India-England 'examination' concerns field goals, superstitions, yes. AMLAN: You're Wall-St. eye-type with culture anthropology taste for the birds, Ms. O'Hara? SHELBYE: Surely. AMLAN: Well, sports heals the lacerations of the dark art of politics, surely. SHELBYE: Fare. Amlan was shrewd. Sports was a hallmark for network thinking and globalism image for Earthlings, and it reflected varied interests for commentary in the Selfie/media age of life-capitalism linked grid-activity, for folks like Satan and O'Hara, who'd been versed in the fare-rich Blue Planet of 'troubles' like colonialism and terrorism (for the Ego). AMLAN: Kapil Dev and Gavaskar were featured in that '83 semifinal theater, Ms. O'Hara (know?). SHELBYE: I read of it...and in your cyber-forum posts (sure). AMLAN: Why this investment eye for Earthling record in social media globalism rhetoric, lady? SHELBYE: I like mystery-investor hands or image for the lines of leviathan/uncertainty. AMLAN: Well, in the West, it's Super Bowl TV (ads!) culture that makes for capitalism chandelier. SHELBYE: Football is called soccer in the States; World cup (soccer/cricket) shines outside America. AMLAN: America remains the Big Brother of capitalism, industry, immigration, and consumerism. SHELBYE: Burger King. AMLAN: Well, the India-England '83 chandelier was one for the sovereignty books of Heaven. SHELBYE: Martian envy (perhaps). Sure, the 1983 Indian-side of great cricket for World Cup record made for cool social media reflection/chat; and when India iced past England, it made for future-time interest for investors/fans/writers/historians intrigued by what made Earthling-confidence something for drumstick art(s). That's why Shelbye wanted to be a pronounced sponsor/investor for this cyber-niche pocket of Earthling activity marshaled by Mr. Amlan Satan; but he wondered if she was seeking some Romanticism capitalist-line to restore some family-prestige matter, with her weird statement about her 'troubling' wayward/estranged Irish sister (hmmm). Amlan nevertheless had to appreciate what such investment-eye offered for social grids rhetoric for his 21st-Century Selfie/Facebook age of incomplete-distances readings for the 'fashion' of wrought cleats for vanity (sure). In fact, Amlan decided to invite Shelbye to his hostel where he'd be showcasing a fun lifestyle 'linked' sports-culture film/story for a reflection on what made this cricket-hop something of a medicine for modern Earthling paranoia about distances between jewelry...and war. SHELBYE: Breaded mushrooms to complement our Netflix Saturday's Eve (yum). AMLAN: Sounds-dialysis for leviathan/uncertainty (surely), lady investor! SHELBYE: You want to know more about my (evil?) sister, don't you? AMLAN: Hey, whatever floats sanity for hospitality here...we need your money, lady! SHELBYE: Martian U-turn (perhaps). Amlan soon discovered that Shelbye's (evil?) sister was wed to some horrifying IRA-UVF thermal for social media superstition (damn). What did Shelbye seek? Did the India-England '83 World Cup sports-commentary culture theater/project create the worldly rejuvenations for Mr. Amlan Satan that drew Shelbye's troubles-chemistry eyes (of Martian envy)? Amlan knew this was the inception of something beautiful (Facebook-like). "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2024 Abishai100 |
