It was October, and Mr. Amlan Satan, our protagonist-prince of this baseball faerie-tale, was prepped as a costumed funny-prince for a micro-rivalry theater showcase featuring a potent Yankees of NY team and a challenging/aspiring '15 Series winning Royals of Kansas-City. Sure, Amlan recounted the glory days of youth collecting American baseball cards, rich with texture/color for the game's great democratic 'feel' of stats/fanfare follow and knew his Royals cards outweighed (in his brain) his Yankees collection (Facebook-like!).

GIRLFRIEND: Your Royals cards are superior, pal.
AMLAN: Thanx, lady (I know!).
GIRLFRIEND: You have some sentiment for the NY-team this October, eh?
AMLAN: Well, I just read Kevin Cook (Electric October); but I like all baseball.
GIRLFRIEND: Your readers might think (on social media) Royals cards is equation.
AMLAN: New York's toughness (ok).

Amlan Satan's lady was sharp. His Royals cards weighed heavier than his NY-collection(s); and surely this would impact his reader-commentary for October-seasons harvest-intuitions of this American theater of Yankees-Royals interest for color (or variance!).

When he got to the arena to cheer on the Royals (by now), he knew that the faces of American TV-culture reflected what made October so cool for the sports-fan/writer; and he hoped to find some 'ghost-magic' charm to imprint onto his consciousness for some superstition-line for what the outcome created for the Earthling cleats of heaven/hell (Facebook-like!).

READER: Who cares?
AMLAN: You believe in October, then you believe in American pillows and quills, friend.
READER: Royals won in '85/'15, yeah?
AMLAN: Sure; and honestly my fave-team (Baltimore) was all out by then.
READER: You honestly feel Royals had chance-of-miracle(s)?
AMLAN: Selfie-like.

Well, it was October after all, and there wasn't anything wicked inside the stadium for the Halloween-season, and our prince (Mr. Amlan Satan) was there as a citizen-fan costumed/masked, perhaps to allow for some superstitious cheer of what made American psyche image something of a festivity for lines of dodecahedrons (for the Ego!).

DAMIAN (Son): Video games are humans on the screen forever.
AMLAN: Good look, sonny; it's a completely fictional universe!
DAMIAN (Son): I love New York.
AMLAN: New York's the place of education and ghosts (like baseball).
DAMIAN (Son): And video games!

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
