Baseball cards-romanticism love-letter for Friday's Eve.
DISCLAIMER: This work of sports fiction contains images/references with no ties to any person(s)/body (National Aquarium) and is cast as purely a 'personal' expression for social art (for 'open' interpretation). ---- ==== There I was in Baltimore, in the aquarium, and I thought about my two very-special baseball-cards, a Cal Ripken and Bo Jackson card of modern baseball lore reflecting 21st-Century micro-rivalry adjectives for things like Wild Card adjectives. I saw a shark and worried I was taking my fortunes in vain (damn). My name's Amlan Satan, and I'd become a Selfie-age fan-commentator of sports-trophy imagery, and I knew my case or line for Royals-Orioles baseball rivalry interest made for special IQ in the American Homeland (for citizenry/readers). Of course, I grew up in the time of TV and Internet, as social media really took-flight for the Ego. I grew up cheering for special games of college student athletics culture access-consciousness, on Saturdays too (wow). I grew up primed to cast my sports cards collections for rivalry-hyperbole for fans and educators (for leviathan/uncertainty). There I was, thinking of my Cal Ripken and Bo Jackson cards for Orioles-Royals rivalry showcase for social media presentations as I prepared to cheer for the Kansas City team seeking to shock the power-town Yankees in the '24 MLB playoffs for good storytelling and treasure-vanities (for American 'religion'). GIRLFRIEND: You've become a capitalism race man. ME: Thanx...I like the idea that America requires defense with spies! GIRLFRIEND: Orioles-Royals rivalry for cards and town-biases for IQ is good, hon. ME: Thanx...I like the idea that America requires hype with jewelry! GIRLFRIEND: Good for antiterrorism mechanics. ME: Facebook-like (ok). "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2024 Abishai100 |
