Chess is a game of 'worldly' decision-making symbolism and this yarn references some life-destiny illusions relevance to the Christian mythos of the struggles/reward experiences of the character of Job (of risk/secrecy). Mr. Amlan Satan had been running a New England (Boston-town area) cyber-homeschooling program for chess-education for local youth when he was engaged/contacted by a stranger, a Martian who called himself Endymion, who insisted he had a special thought-lining for the problematics of chess and the complexity 'theory' of existence (or consciousness) and the wage for life and death and civilization shaping margins, for Amlan's Selfie-age of life linked Rationalism/qualia (for the Ego).

MARTIAN: What if I proposed I'd the psychic skills to exert mind control?

AMLAN: Over the entire human race, all of capitalism, like a globe-grid?

MARTIAN: What if I further claimed that I'd pardon such excess with chess?

AMLAN: Let me guess; if I don't achieve at least a stalemate, humans lose?

MARTIAN: What if I further argued that this comes with a post-laurel dare?

AMLAN: I'll guess; if I achieve at least a stalemate, I need defer something?

MARTIAN: What if I further proposed you defer by keeping it secret?

AMLAN: So, I get to continue just my simple happy chess-school life?

MARTIAN: What if I offered a special Boston-peace for your program?

AMLAN: I guess I can't refuse, lest I become Job (or someone!).

MARTIAN: Good...let's proceed, prince-man of Earth (for cinema-Selfie).

AMLAN: So, I play for mankind, and you posture as risk-challenger?
MARTIAN: Can your 'capitalism-race' offer this IQ-RV (Selfie-like)?

AMLAN: Sure...cinema-halftime.

Amlan achieved the miracle-stalemate, against this mysterious cyber-portals communicating Martian ('Endymion'); mankind was saved, if Endymion really was possessing that complete Earth/species mind-control power(s) he claimed would be the risk to wage for the chess-challenge. Chess is a game of board-pieces arrayed with differing moves of infinite possibilities and arrangements for offense/defense, with pieces offering different motions/power, and it requires efficiency and calculations and sometimes premonition (for the Ego). Endymion moved like a machine, really; but Amlan countered with good advancements in diagonal bishop-piece motions designed to disorient machine-offense advancements, creating a nearly-perfect stalemate of consensual thorax-greatness (for the Ego).

ENDYMION (Martian): Well done, prince-man (damn).

AMLAN: We've reached our accord, and I get my school-program laurel!

ENDYMION: You know of the Book of Job?

AMLAN: Yes, sure, he lost it all, gained other things, found Selfie-magic.

ENDYMION: You see I demanded excellence in your world sensitivity?

AMLAN: I can see the secret, Mr. Martian; demand chess-excellence!

ENDYMION: At a risk of losing it all for human evolution/futures, ha.

AMLAN: Demand the best, continue to seek sovereignty biases (secrecy).

ENDYMION: You were the right-stuff for Earthling 'education' for class, see.

AMLAN: I see it, Mr. Martian...thanx for the resource-watch (Selfie-IQ).

GIRLFRIEND: We're to Casablanca, eh?

AMLAN: Good post-laurel retreat for a tourist-largo, darling!
GIRLFRIEND: Then to Brussels for waffles, eh?

AMLAN: Good for the network-thorn (Selfie-like).

What did the Martian seek? It seemed to our protagonist hero-prince, Mr. Amlan Satan, cyber-homeschooling chess-educator of the Boston-town area (New England), that his Job-contextual chess-risk life challenge, for wage/consciousness, revealed a special antiterrorism philosophy for controls in fate/design! Well, thankfully, if Endymion wasn't a prankster or simplified hacker of cyber-portals and really did possess dangerous/dark mind-control powers for subjugation, Mr. Satan's chess stalemate midways-phrasing created a continued human-world resilience photon for the cleats of our Blue-Planet phenomenal challenges (for the Ego).
