Mr. Amlan Satan took his borrowed white auto and darted to NY for a Times Square photo-write in his post-9/11 American Homeland Selfie-culture age of transit securities for confidence consciousness but didn't anticipate a remarkable discovery in the record-shop in Times Square concerning the story of an old Civil War musician who was rumored to be a psychopath. This surely made a U-turn for his auto-focus sensibilities as a writer.

MERCHANT: That's the story, of the War-musician.

SATAN: Do you have any written record of such rumor/folklore, pal?

MERCHANT: All we have is some journal notes from one of our workers!

SATAN: That's how you came to know of the Civil War tale?

MERCHANT: Yes, our employee's his descendant and had his journal, man.

SATAN: In the journal, the War-musician accounts for his dementia?

MERCHANT: He claims he may've killed some Union soldiers (for music!).

SATAN: I'd like a transcript or copy for my story about the Civil War, pal.

MERCHANT: Changing your writer-path in Times Square, Mr. Satan?

SATAN: Selfie-like (thanx).

Well, Amlan was going to explore varied methods of language expression for resilience in the American Homeland in his post-9/11 age of traffic securities 'feelings' for the heart, including wrought dramas of folks of NY getting-on with love and tragedy and trauma and sensuality in times of terrorism paranoia or globe-war frailties (e.g., Ukraine Invasion of the 21st-Century). Surely, he thought, he had enough inspiration for multiple options in writing already (for solid state fiction!).

READER: This Civil War psycho-musician is some 9/11 premonition agent?

SATAN: That's the abstract/gist of my pre-press offering, pal.

READER: I don't get it...you seem dwelling on invasion/ghost superstitions.

SATAN: Why not...weren't we Roswell-prone in the post-WWII era, pal?

READER: There's no proof of your War-musician with insanity-heat.

SATAN: We've his journal excerpts...sufficient for Homeland football, no?

READER: Maybe (Godspeed).

PUBLISHER: You want us to accept some Civil War psychosis as telepathy.

SATAN: What's wrong with that?

PUBLISHER: Sounds-dialysis for paranoia-indulgences in the Homeland, no?

SATAN: Nah...it's all qualia for our Earth (surely).
