Shylock: Atlantic-CityA Story by Abishai100Adaptation of the offbeat Shakespeare Devil's Advocate character in a fortune-world telling of the humanism behind 'sporting' chalk.
An Atlantic-City adaptation of the characterization of Shylock (Merchant of Venice, Shakespeare). Thanks for reading,
DISCLAIMER: This work of creative fiction offers no ties to the area of Atlantic City and all images/references used herein comprise a purely 'personal' expression for social art (for 'open' critique/views). ---- ==== I was investing in some late-Summer seasons activity in the Boardwalk-area of Atlantic City and found some special readings for the chance-alignment of tokens and prizes and shares in capitalism-race thinking when I encountered a real Devil's Advocate, a Jewish diamond-merchant named Shylock who wanted to challenge my acumen of fortunes for insurance and treasure-islands acumen at the beach (damn). SHYLOCK: You're considering the languages/adjective of capitalism's prizes, no? ME: I am, and this Boardwalk-area 'image' invokes a sporting cleat for players! SHYLOCK: Perchance you think me crude to wonder of your language of wallets? ME: You want to offer me some 'wage' for co-investment for the logic of fortune. SHYLOCK: If you fail to measure contracts for shares, you don't become a captain! ME: This sounds like a rather straight statement for the nihilism of gambling, no? SHYLOCK: I suppose you make mark of me as simply a Devil's Advocate (Selfie). Shylock made mark of me as a typical Selfie/capitalism comments culture citizen or 'diplomat' of fortunes and insurance and treasure-islands characterizations for Boardwalk fries and thinking and wanted me to make co-investment with me for 'examination' of my weight for measuring wealth and tokens with contract/exchange based confidence for team-building wealth, and if I came short, he'd make mark of me as truly Selfie-biased for American citizens of the faces of Western lifestyle/confidence (damn). I decided to flee the Boardwalk and continue my Selfie-shaped capitalism heavens and thought honestly later about prospects of shared/teamwork based investment and the chance-intelligence of the Colosseum of American Homeland fortune-languages for storytelling and adjectives (sure). Maybe I learned something from that straightly-curt merchant and Devil's Advocate of Atlantic City, but I promised myself that my Earthling wanderings for the tokens/prizes of treasure-islands would invoke that handshake for exchanges for very-special (capitalist) registers (for the Ego!).
