These Piranhas of '24A Story by Abishai100Dramatic telling of Atlantic hellmouth for a horror-portrait of (August) cleats (piranha).
A late-August horror fiction (Atlantic City). Inspired/moved by this real news-story from Argentine water (source: International Business Times, December '13). Enjoy (piranhas),
---- ==== It was Summer, late-August, on the Boardwalk, and the Atlantic was suddenly troubled, and folks around the casino-image Beach (city) talked (openly) about the new string of Earth-invasion attacks by piranhas from hell, and I was assigned to the case as a coastal man/security. I didn't know what to do. My own girlfriend was bloody murdered. This wasn't Facebook-like (damn). GIRLFRIEND: I got you this sketch (piranha!). ME: Don't joke, darling...be the civics-minded teller you are, Esmerelda (damn). GIRLFRIEND: You know, I'm going swimming late-night (or dawn!) to prove it's safe. ME: Who the hell's chewing up Atlantic City goers, Esmerelda (hmmm)? GIRLFRIEND: Maybe Martians (ha)...no, check out this sketch we found, Amlan Satan. When Esmerelda turned up dead, I did my own forensics and denied the Boardwalk claims some surfer-clan of insanity was simply cutting/puncturing/lacerating beach-goers turned up chewed up, and I knew it was the piranha infestation, some Earth backlash (spiritual?) to modern climate-change (wow). I got a crossbow for revenge...and I sought to adapt my hero 'deed' with some faerie-tale (this one). The piranha is a lethal water-creature, a leviathan of uncertainty, for human-world life (ok). I knew that, and as the Boardwalk guard of the Atlantic, I knew about piranha poison, and I even saw that iconic horror-film (American/Hollywood), but Esmerelda's loss made me stiff. She had a heart-attack but was left uncut. Her bikini-body was washed ashore, and I was left to watch video (great). MAYOR: Just use your media hype crossbow and get those poisoned arrows into their eyes, pal! ME: What did you think I'd do instead, for Esmerelda, mayor? MAYOR: Good (Facebook-like). Esmerelda and I were to get married and fly-away to Brussels, since her mother operated a bank there, and she liked her job. That wasn't to be. She made a complete fancy-dress get-up to make a late-night swimming social media video/post, complete with a doily-veil and party heels. But she suffered a heart-attack. I was her angel now, and I wouldn't fail her (not now). This was not a photo-image for the Atlantic (or the Abyss). I found forensic evidence (myself) in gear and knew the reports were true and it was a lethal leviathan-fish infestation and not some maniac-clan making hoaxes for bloody murder (wow). I knew what to do...I just had to do it. I'd get a boat, swim out, dive, armored/helmeted (fully), and armed with poison, for shooing-away of a school of these predators to deliver home the Earthling message there'd be no scientific hospitality here (not for Summer). FRIEND: I saw that piranha-movie (horror-Earth) remake! ME: Was it godly (ha)? FRIEND: Are you alright, Amlan Satan? ME: Hey, we won the battle...isn't that enough (it's not Chernobyl!). FRIEND: Good (Selfie-like). FRIEND: Garlic pizza bites on alternative breads with sauce (yummy). ME: Esmerelda's in Heaven (ok). FRIEND: And your piranha-pals are exorcised to Hell (ok). ME: Thanx, Ralph (for pizza light). FRIEND: You're very-welcome (Facebook-like). TIME-CAPSULE DISCOVERY NOTES: "Year 2050...buried time-capsule of Atlantic City (American Homeland) Boardwalk area water piranha invasion/threat...retold by a Mr. Amlan Satan...we think he committed suicide (uncertain!)...claims of hero-deed for avenger imagery in traffic-controls for vacation-lands in climate-change 'environment-fiction'...surely evidence of early 21st-Century Earth-walks (or swims) for pronouncements for 'chlorinated-consciousness' for Western banks (for the Ego)."
