This was an American Homeland toast to the candylands of capitalism in-lifestyle, and Kabal had the edge to link NY-football (Buffalo!) to some sports-street life/culture 'equipment-eye' (like Asics fitness sneakers for the Ego).

The 'wild-son' of Outworld (Johnny Cage!) meanwhile delivered some cyber-fantasy lines about the value of Ivory Coast 'dominance' in cocoa-exports (for world-chocolate industry/intuition) for capitalism's arms of bread/fruit and likened it to the mass cable-TV appeal of African sports windows access for Gladiator-consciousness (AFCON world soccer trophy won by Cote d'Ivoire against power-nation Nigeria in the 2nd decade of the 21st-Century) and challenged Kabal's 'Americana' sneaker-taste for new-gen Buffalo-football cleats of hospitality-engineering (for the Ego!).
