Amlan reunited with his childhood friend, Danica, for a cyber-game portrait of the allure of volleyball (video-games!) as the Paris Games had come, and the USA national (women's) team looked to complete their post-shock Brazil trumpet with a challenge for power-country Italy (wow).

AMLAN: I used to be a big fan of Summer Olympics video-games and Nintendo.

DANICA: Sure, but beach-volleyball differs much from indoor team-ball, no?

AMLAN: Yes, and the American women are poised for a dashing medallion, Danica.

DANICA: Good reason for this reunion since our time in Boston as kids, friend.

AMLAN: Facebook-like (quite cool).

There was much intrigue in Europe in the new millennium, including the Euronext advancements and the great and tragic Notre Dame fire, and Amlan/Danica knew this 'French toast' for American-Italian (women's) volleyball would be a nice spice for Summer Games Euro-record for the pages/news of inventive Earthling media/socials (for fiction!).

AMLAN: That 5-set stunner with Brazil was a modern masterpiece (talent/teams).

DANICA: Surely good for Olympics record; Americans like educational athletics.

AMLAN: I'll cheer for the Italians (too)...this is good for fiction; can invent upsets.

DANICA: Cool for the modern leviathan of woes, too; I'm cheering for America.

AMLAN: Ladies first...I guess Italy has more to gain from the win.

DANICA: Italy's got great (men's) soccer 'celebrity' with Brazil, no?

Amlan/Danica were eager to make 3 variants of stories (all-fiction) about upsets/expects for America-Italy gold medal showcase in France that Summer season of sports/TV; and they wondered if their variants, with Italian or American strings of vanity/glory would make a cool Facebook-citizenry image for all things fashion...or stew. Amlan wanted to take Danica to Florence post-finals (Selfie-like!).
