![]() Cursed Photo Shop {Wide Restoration}A Story by Abishai100![]() View of exorcism-oriented self-therapy for incurred angst/frailty on Earth, revealing an unusual religion-linked 'illusion' of simple relief.![]()
An offbeat narrative of self-imposed exorcism 'consciousness' for the humble human being of mod-Earth. Inspired loosely by the Exorcist franchise.
DISCLAIMER: This work of fiction contains images/references with no ties to any person(s)/body and is therefore cast as purely a 'personal' expression for social art (for 'open' translation). ---- ==== I was working with my computer mouse on my desktop in New England, happily playing with it, having been gifted the computer-set from my psychiatrist at Bellview for immediate self-art therapy, suing a Graphics Equator for special simile shape-constructions reflecting my paranoia that perceptible forms of Earth, in cities and forests, would be linked to interesting (or frightening!) shapes of similarity and/or or size-manipulation. I made shapes of all kinds on my Graphics Equator 'toy' with my mouse and wanted to find some idealized canonized form or image of something truly deep and complicating/complicated for a Selfie-culture intelligence appealing to any sane New England citizen. ![]() I wasn't always at Bellview. I was once at a hostel-station as a worldly businessman, working and enjoying life in a hotel TV-lounge, happily watching Bloomberg-TV, as a profound investor, when I snapped...which is how I landed in Bellview. Now, I wanted some image of the real world to make on my Graphic Equator, a simile or metaphor for self-art therapy, to remember my hostel-station/hotel from my business-work normal prior life with more Selfie-laughter (sure). ![]() So, I found the right-stuff item of object or beautiful real 'trophy' of Earth for my Graphic Equator mouse-hunt (yes). It was a very unusual crafted sculpture creation of one manifestation or 'avatar' of the adversarial Devil (Lucifer/Satan), the enemy of Paradise, according to widespread Christian mythology (for the Ego!). I made similarity-shapes, and some of different size-scales for humor or sadness, of this 'trophy' from the real world and religion; and then...it came alive (to me)...just like that (Selfie-like!). ![]() SATAN (the Devil): Doubt I'm whispering something (anything!) of value (to you), sir? ME: You call out to me, through my doll-rendering of your sculpture-image, Satan. SATAN (the Devil): I could spread the note to your doc that you've become evil. ME: That's alarming; I'm merely seeking self-art therapy for restorations in spirits! SATAN (the Devil): Hey, you made me (Graphic Equator), remember? ME: What, you'll have my shrink's 'legion' march in to find me in wheelchair/graffiti? SATAN (the Devil): Why not...for isn't art therapy simply a delusion (for eternity)? ME: I doubt that; so does my God (if I choose to believe in God); I'm my own soul. SATAN (the Devil): Perhaps this is just a test, offered by a 'specter' of fake-rooms! ME: That's tricky, Satan...perchance we've reached some humility (for art's horror). SATAN (the Devil): Perhaps, sir...farewell (Selfie-like). ![]() The Devil departed from my consciousness, and I returned to my own private/therapeutic arts (on my Graphic Equator!) with my handy-dandy mouse (ha). My shrink was pleased, and I kept my secret, or perhaps the Devil's secret (or both!). I was gifted some absinthe from another patient who had it smuggled in by a family-visitor to Bellview. I thought about my computer-mouse...and thoughts of those proverbial (prophetic?) 'people beneath the floor' or those 'under-the-stairs' of the great religious estate of Earth's private prayer-housing and fortune...and I wondered if the true evil or mystery of this universe concerned simplified charming dolls (for the exorcist or liar). ![]() "Doing well is the result of doing good.
