Rm-237: Alien

A Story by Abishai100
"

Fanfiction of Stanley Kubrick's view of Stephen King's very-eerie masterpiece of hostel-station disarray for the mind's (incomplete) perfection.

"
A Summer Saturday's Eve fanfiction of the visually-rich and completely unusual senses paranoia Stephen King novel/concept adapted The Shining (Stanley Kubrick). Thanks so much for reading,

AMLAN: This will be a great hotel-getaway for our writer's retreat for inspirations.
DANICA: Dad, will this be a right escape in Room 237 in Brussels for your shining?
AMLAN: Daughter-darling Danica, I've a secret...I'm psychic (ok?).
DANICA: What, you can see ghosts and read brains...that's why you're a writer now?
AMLAN: You said it; this Rm.-237 in Belgium will inspire us to think stories together!
DANICA: If you can read my mind, you'd already guess what I'd tell you, no?
AMLAN: That's funny, darling; but, I stay temperate and reserve 'shining' for others.
DANICA: You write for others (Facebook-like).

Amlan and Danica got to their Brussels getaway room as lovely dad-daughter duo for Belgian writer's retreat; Amlan hoped to share with his darling-daughter his psychic powers while she offered him some special superstitions ideas about stories about strange invasion paranoia on Earth, about aliens or goblins or specters of the dark-side of the universe. They had no idea Rm.-237 would harbor a complete dragon, a reddish specter of Hell who was about to entreat Amlan's psychic-senses and challenged Danica (too) with some stranger concept ideas about blood and loss. Danica immediately sensed there was something 'extra credit' weird about their Belgian writer's-retreat hotel room (237)...not Facebook-like.

The dragon began to make knocking sounds on the walls; this was while Amlan and Danica (father/daughter) brainstormed creative ideas about Earth-goblins and specters for Amlan's new Pulitzer-caliber novel about everyday superstitions turned real unusual or 'extra-credit' for the human consciousness. Danica began to warn her father that this was a surefire sign there was some eerie messenger responsible for the sounds interrupting their otherwise amazing bond-experience for Selfie-creativity visage (in the American Homeland).

DRAGON: You two are Selfie-bound; Romanticism's prototypes (dad/daughter).
AMLAN/DANICA: Whoever (or whatever!) you are, we're entreating real creativity.
DRAGON: That's why I'm here now to gift you new forms of life-superstition, pals!
AMLAN/DANICA: Well, our story concept ideas are already completely good, specter.
DRAGON: No, no, no, no...you know not of my visage of creative alterations.
AMLAN/DANICA: What are you speaking of here, specter (in our Room 237)?
DRAGON: I'll tell you the concept...and Amlan must write it (with Danica's aid).
AMLAN/DANICA: What's this dark side concept, specter?
DRAGON: Well, it's got a Martian devilish other-life feeling of engagements (fiction).
AMLAN/DANICA: Geez!

The dragon-specter insisted that life for Earthlings was more paranormal than was given wage for speculations or hyperbole! The dragon insisted the darling dad-daughter 'force' of writing-desks find some deeper image of other-worldly disorientation for superstitions of displacement and disarray...and deformity. The specter insisted Amlan write the novel idea of engagements with nonhuman 'beings' (be they Martian or demons or phantoms or goblins)...and engagements which created newfound concepts of life/physique reinvention (like deep changes in human form, arms and limbs and fingers) that removed everyday sensibilities about psyche-normality of walking/motion Earthling race sanity.

AMLAN: The dragon wants me to write a tale of a man whose fingers become glued.
DANICA: They just somehow oddly start to become glued to each other, dad?
AMLAN: The dragon wants me to conceive of human physique forms of life-jagged.
DANICA: Glued fingers art idea told by the dragon haunting Room-237, goodness.
AMLAN: We'll cook-up some mediocre-humbled rendition of the recommendation.
DANICA: With your psychic-powers from Heaven, dad.
AMLAN: Good...I'll drink some medicinal drink and start the project post-flight.
DANICA: That dragon-specter will depart from our life after you write it?
AMLAN: That's the promise, darling Danica.
DANICA: A man whose fingers start to become glued, dad (wow)?
AMLAN: Perchance this 'dragon' thought to inebriate my powers-of-helmet.
DANICA: Don't worry, dad...we'll escape from the dragon's look.
AMLAN: Refreshments of prayers, Danica...of prayers (leviathan).
