Ronin/WestA Story by Abishai100Does 'Ronin' work (Arles) yield cleats for diamonds for ex-intelligence road-runners with a question for their employer ('Baroness')?
An ex-intelligence yarn inspired by the excellent modern underworld 'market' film Ronin (John Frankenheimer).
---- ==== AMLAN: This French (Arles) roadways chase has Ronin distance from Van Gogh art. RAKI: We're to complete the ex-intelligence underworld mission pre-vacation, pal! AMLAN: Oh, of course; Ronin (displaced/masterless warriors) are paid outlanders. RAKI: Our mystery-employer ('Baroness') has us thinkin' Arles-toast for Selfie-IQ. AMLAN: Maybe she's prepping the diamond-transport for Olympics-gems ads? RAKI: Or maybe smugglers roadways exploitation for cheap pirate-journals. AMLAN: Selfie-like (ok). The road-chase in Arles was great. Amlan/Raki sped-off with Ion-co. conflict-zone smuggled gems in France for their mystery-employer ('Baroness') and made nifty ex-intelligence legends/maps for invisible work with special skills acquired from their ex-masters, as 'Ronin' of Earth. Ronin were Japanese samurai who lost their master, requiring them to wander with auto focus as simplified mercs with fortune cleats (wow). The Baroness was relieved the road-chase ended with Amlan/Raki cornering the Ion-co. minions inside an ancient relic of tourist-value with special silencer hands and then transporting the rumored 'blood-diamonds' for an (earned?) commission. She wondered if the two 'Ronin' would stay behind in Arles to visit what inspired Van Gogh to the peace of art/fiction (sure). BARONESS: Thanx for the Blu-ray gift, gents. AMLAN/RAKI: You looked like you carried that worldly visage of Netflix-love, lady. BARONESS: You're curious about the origins/destination of the treasures/islands? AMLAN/RAKI: Ronin don't ask, Baroness (sure). BARONESS: Wise...perhaps these are UK-bound pre-Olympics (Paris), gents? AMLAN/RAKI: We don't care...we don't even know if we're (both) ex-intelligence. BARONESS: Ha, that's the subject of cinema (good). "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2024 Abishai100 |
