Mr. Amlan Satan was shocked when his post-immigration move and entryway into the Hollywood universe yielding him an Oscar-nod for his supporting-role performance as a New England librarian stalking one of his visitors, a lovely-lady of science-arms; and he now wondered (deeply) about Selfie-culture readings of media/TV/movies culture life-personality image for the 'cleats' of acknowledged social angst, ambition, awkwardness, allergy, and association (for the Ego).

Mr. Satan portrayed a quiet and reserved Boston-town area library librarian named Elia Khan who took note of his stalker-target, a special French-American woman and local student and assistant-teacher (Nathalie Locks) and insisted that she was somehow some form of a Galatea-narcissism reading (for 'books' class).

MS. LOCKS: Why're you masked like Michael Myers for Halloween, friend?
ELIA (Amlan): Shhhh.
NATHALIE: Good lord, are you that librarian who stares at me.
MR. KHAN: Michael Myers doesn't answer to inquiry, Nathalie (sure).
NATHALIE: Look, if you're some immigrant-psycho librarian, I'm not Madonna.

POST-OSCAR POST (Fan): That was a cool Oscar-night for American-TV; it was weird seeing Howard Dean lose to Amlan Satan, but Elia Khan was something (actually) 'incendiary' and reminded me of those isolationist screen-gem characters/avatars like Jett Rink (Glenn McCarthy)...so it's Selfie-doughnuts for Earth's 'football' glasses (sure).
