A vignette (on my birthday, today) about a case of great spiritual intrigue to me, as a Catholic, the jarring and media-enriched Amityville tragedy (NY), which had inspired one of my fave-films of deep-thought Amityville II: The Possession (Burt Young). Thanks for reading,

Amlan and Marcus felt their Selfie-culture on the fare-rich Blue-Planet of incomplete-distances readings of the commerce/consumerism/media lifestyle for languages and expressions made for a dialysis-interest in the metaphysics or superstitions of a very special media-spotlight news-case involving community lifestyle and socialized conversational views for hospitality-readings and decided to find a special Earth image of particular morality-meditations weight on a bright June 13th morning in the year '24.

They chose the Amityville tragedy. This story, widely publicized and then written about in creative format and then adapted into an entire movie culture series in the American Homeland, featuring big-name stars of the classic and modern era like Burt Young, Margot Kidder, and Ryan Reynolds, reflected on the nature of discourse concerning a claimed haunted house in the small town of Amityville, New York (USA). The Amityville tragedy began with the bloody-murders of the relatives of the young man Ronald DeFeo (Jr.) who killed everyone in their beds while they slept (with a gun) and was incarcerated for his insane outbreak. Soon thereafter, a new family moved into the old DeFeo house, where they reported paranormal activities that scared the living-daylights out of them. What happened? This sort of twisting question inspired much media-culture 'chatter' for cinema and news. That's what drew Amlan and Marcus in to this Homeland 'examination' for their Selfie-commentary culture age of life-drawn superstitions and psychology-profundity (hmmm).

Now, Amityville still stands as a resting-place of American culture, pride, and energy for small-town life for its residents/citizens, and the memoirs of that horror-house where bloody-murders took place prior to claimed hauntings from Hell didn't deteriorate that distinct American hospitality image fascination with storytelling or hosting superstitions curiosities for tourists or visitors or simply inquirers/scientists like Amlan and Marcus. They decided to prep their youthful 'adventure' with a watch of an iconic fields-superstitions hospitality-paranoia film before darting to Amityville, New York (USA).

When the two gents got there, they naturally took-in the hospitality feel of the small-town in the American Homeland surrounding that eerie specter-storyboard enriched big house of legend/lore. They interviewed residents and thought about what made the spectacle for text a rich Western/Earthling 'consciousness' for all things requiring special 'sportsmanship cleats' for enriched news/experience/tragedy understanding (for photo-synthesis!).

The house stood tall and mighty and still foreboding for its visitors who sought to gaze upon its structured almost inviting feel of metaphysics gone dark. They decided to get a tour and then to start taking notes at the local library for research and enhanced preparation feel for their cyber-presentation about this great Amityville tragedy on Earth (Facebook-like).

They learned much and felt intrigue. They got notes about the Occult, of special omen/superstition concepts and texts of that 'dark-side' of the Earthling-imagination; and they (Amlan/Marcus), applied their enhanced understandings for consciousness to representing/presenting the Amityville tragedy for the image of dark-vanities and disorientation it was actually! Ronald DeFeo (Jr.) turned on his own family in brutal-fashion, and the causes were gossiped to be domestic 'troubles' or personal demonic possession; and the bloody-tragedy preceded the haunted-house experience of the Lutz family who moved into the dreaded but incredibly-structured looking American house and encountered what they seemed to claim was the specters of purely dark message. Was this (all) simply omen-indulgences...or something more inherently basic instinct to the human spirit in the American Homeland...something about the Realism behind wayward fate or fates (not Facebook-like)?

JOURNALIST: You two gents came into town to be another grouping of Amityville inquirers.

AMLAN/MARCUS: We agreed to this interview after receiving positive comments for our prologue-writes.

JOURNALIST: You'd been versed in the Amityville horror through Internet/movies.

AMLAN/MARCUS: We got into town prepared as best we could and got a tour of the house and proceeded.

JOURNALIST: Ronald DeFeo was a great anti-celebrity; there's not many like him.

AMLAN/MARCUS: He was a man darkly-focused on the 'direction' of fate gone out of line-shaping.

JOURNALIST: Do you believe he was possessed/haunted; or that the Lutz family told the truth too?

AMLAN/MARCUS: DeFeo family 'curse' is worth spirit-density IQ; legacy's worth 'American' shadows.

JOURNALIST: Was Ronald DeFeo a young-man simply become a messenger of the Realism of Hell?

AMLAN/MARCUS: We choose not to flower personal spiritual emotions; but we care for weight-cleats.

JOURNALIST: Weight-cleats?

AMLAN/MARCUS: Perchance the Defeo/Lutz stories (Amityville) offer media-mezzanines?

JOURNALIST: Selfie-like (ok).

Wow, when Amlan and Marcus returned to their own hometown in the American Homeland (Boston), they decided to follow-up on their rave presentation of that landmark tragedy/story with a cool Halloween newspaper clippings readings for kids in their town trick-or-treating, to remind them that ghosts and goblins lurk in the transformation spirits of the human folk we all may consider everyday normal folk, reminding us that the pumpkins-and-spice of Earthling media/lights may just (simply) reveal why 'sportsmanship cleats' for inquiry into the weight of civilization 'examination' educates us (all) about the mysteries of infinite field goals (sure).
