Possession: Father's Wedding {Edison}A Story by Abishai100Dramatization of the Amityville horror and 'fanfiction' of the Burt Young film of incomplete-lines to the darkness of manmade end zones.
An adaptation of the themes/concepts of the disturbing Amityville: The Possession (Burt Young) and fictionalization of the American tragedy told therein. Happy Father's Day all (thanks for reading!), DISCLAIMER: This work of dramatization/adaptation offers no ties to the referenced work of inspiration or to the real story of the DeFeo murders and all images/references used herein comprise a purely 'personal' expression for social art (for 'open' review). ---- ==== MR. AMLAN SATAN: "This is my time to express to my alcoholic father (Emit) why my computer-diagrams of life-affirming dolls come-to-life infuses a special Catholic evangelism worthy of my transcendence of these inner-voices in my damned head of Selfie-consumerism commentary culture readings of the nerdist-cleat (yes)." Amlan shared his Homeland-Jersey prototype town-house with disturbed father (Emit) and liked to sit in his room to watch-TV alone when his father drank and yelled at his TV downstairs. Their mother had left them. Amlan liked to make comics-arts and computer diagrams of wondrous dolls coming animated for spiritual wonders and fantasy to spice his Catholic life of austerity and depression. They'd moved to Edison from Algiers/Calcutta and adopted the American Dream consciousness; but something inside Amlan Satan's town-house was whispering to him; and it wasn't the Holy Spirit. He started feeling unraveled about capitalism's basic image-layout of cleats for work-and-fortune (yes). EMIT: I sit on my stoop, staring, waiting for you bring home wife! AMLAN: Quiet, Emit; stop drinking; I'll show you my doll-arts. EMIT: You marry a doll somehow (Catholic-sonny)? AMLAN: We're adopting the American Dream...I'm earnestly praying. EMIT: Selfie-like, eh (hahaha)? Amlan heard voices in his house telling him to get a rifle or silencer and bloody shoot his disturbed father who felt intolerable in Edison (damn). Not knowing what to do, Amlan Satan decided to trek to the nearby Catholic-church-house to consult with Father Adami. SATAN: I hear voices, Father (bloody-murder). FATHER ADAMI: Cool the blood of the heart; think of your computer-plan! SATAN: Emit won't want to see my doll-animations for marriage-divination. FATHER ADAMI: Keep the faith, and you'll introduce Emit to your real wife! SATAN: No chance...he might take that rifle of his and shoot her, Father. FATHER ADAMI: What do these Edison-voices suggest to you, troubled son? SATAN: Kill Emit for your girlfriend (Ezzy). FATHER ADAMI: Ezzy's your lady (from Edison). SATAN: That's right...I'm coming undone...no art around. One season later, Father Adami read of the American tragedy of Amlan Satan shooting his father (Emit) in self-defense when Ezzy was brought to their (shared) town-house. Amlan was admitted to a treatment-center for the criminally-insane thanks to the consultation of the good priest of the Homeland-Jersey area, where he now hoped treatment would involve Catholic prayers/isolation (and good art!). FATHER ADAMI: I got you this 'classic' computer-mouse, son. AMLAN: I don't need it... FATHER ADAMI: You're gonna use it to continue your doll-animation arts. AMLAN: Mannequin-marriage, eh? FATHER ADAMI: I not give up to you or give-in to those demons who ran you! AMLAN: Thanx. FATHER ADAMI: This mouse, son...it represents the fruits of labors/prayers. AMLAN: Bad art is in my brain...depression...bad memoir, Father. FATHER ADAMI: I'd like you to consider making something art (for Ezzy!). AMLAN: Maybe...thanx for the endorsement, Father (ha). FATHER ADAMI: The voices of demons in Edison didn't turn you, Amlan. AMLAN: That mouse shall...I'll connect with some Euro-museum, Father. FATHER ADAMI: Believe in it; if you don't (yet) believe it. AMLAN: Right...Happy Father's Day (maybe). FATHER ADAMI: That Saint Patrick's Day doll gave Amlan Satan new breath. FATHER ABCD: Did he reconnect with Ezzy? FATHER ADAMI: Not yet...there's cleats for adjective in this case, friend. FATHER ABCD: Sounds-dialysis for leviathan; we'll find Selfie-cleats. FATHER ADAMI: Sure (Happy Father's Day). Years later, we find Mr. Amlan Satan still seeking retributions for the private Selfie-soul, seeking consumerism American dreams 'restorations' of sanity and prayers; and he'd still been seeking the good counsel of Father Adami of Edison (Jersey). Would this tale be counted in the annals of fitness heavens or the real hell of (any) isolation-helmet? "Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson). ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2024 Abishai100 |
