Vlad: Document(s)A Story by Abishai100Fictional portrait of a writer's quest for the mystery-topology of the stranger character known as Vlad the Impaler, for a consciousness-dialysis.
An inventive myth-spin on the strange tale of the ruthless Vlad the Impaler. Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: This work of myth-adaptation/fiction offers no ties to any representative person(s)/body (e.g., Bram Stoker) and is therefore cast as purely a 'personal' expression for social arts (for 'open' interpretation). ---- ==== I'd been studying the rich history/text/lore of that eerie stranger character of Euro-legend/maps, the man known as Vlad the Impaler, a ruthless conqueror who'd been said to lay his adversary-enemy politics 'victims' for territory/dominion impaled on poles; but who'd obtained special Romanticism stranger accounts of implied mystical fantasy heroics of love, similar to those of Dracula (Bram Stoker) who was said to once have a 'great-lost-love' (but these things are of deep interpretation/hyperbole for storytelling and fiction). I became a Selfie-culture nerdist of the high-art of capitalism's vanities, and how Vlad perchance symbolized a nerdist image of 'wrought' ambitions for muscular blood-languages. What moved this stranger Vlad to become a pronounced ambition-seeker of dominion-controls for outright muscular violence 'tied' vanity for Earth? Why'd we want to link the tale of the Impaler to those tales of darkness of Count Dracula? These had become questions of 'cool' social folklore/tales, and I decided to travel to Vlad's homeland to examine the treasures/diadems of what made this place the motion-point for his 'cleats-of-hell' that nevertheless bought Vlad a great haven of mezzanines (for the Ego). JOURNAL (Excerpt): "I dreamt I was teleported to the Red-Planet where Vlad's ghost lurked, insisting that he was now the official Dracula of legend, written and screened by many storytellers and film-makers; one may wonder what moves the Freudian-psyche to craft the red-sands of power and dominion/controls for the Impaler's muscular vanities for power/castles/mystery and why we'd think of the Earth spaces frailty of outright mortality...if only for the magic-image of immortals-cleats (for the Ego)." Was Vlad mad with castles or calm and cold with the execution of weapons for heaven and hell? Was he a 'manifestation' of Dracula himself (somehow)? These are the questions I entertained while dreaming/exploring his land while traveling there from my home (American Homeland). I returned with an image worth its weight in mentalism silver-and-gold; I had to wonder if this Impaler stranger character was something of a dark-side messenger of the connective-parts of the human physique re-imprinted onto the connective parts of a living/organic civilization, or 'world' of dodecahedrons! I rather wanted to seek to connect or link or compare or contour Vlad to a fibers-anarchy comic-character...like DC's Clayface. Was this superstition or psychic cleats (for the Ego)? JOURNAL (Excerpt): "Me thinks to liken this inquiry about the fibrous consciousness of the flesh/bone/brain of dominions and re-presentations onto the connections and threats of the real-world, of civilization/society, of the screen-images of fiction and hyperbole, where we'd find high-art thrill imagery of exploding football-fields, where frailty coincides ('nicely') with helmets."
