Strangers: Holding DownsA Story by Abishai100Does world-view detective conversation (media-interview) yield 'Strangers' expressions for outright Western (American) dystopia?
A fanfiction of the iconic dystopian horror-franchise The Strangers, which sees (now) a rather cool Renny Harlin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master) reboot.
---- ==== DETECTIVE: We believe this Detroit-city hit had something to do with Facebook. INTERVIEW: You believe the two 'Strangers' were cyber-age models/messengers. DETECTIVE: They entered a Detroit town-house masked on Halloween Eve. INTERVIEW: They demanded the residents (couple) procure a football trophy. DETECTIVE: The husband had a Lions-item the 'Strangers' wanted to take. INTERVIEW: Two weeks following the couple's disappearance, their card showed. DETECTIVE: We believe two media-bloggers writing about it were only newsies. INTERVIEW: No proof the bloggers weren't cyber-age traffic-faces (random). DETECTIVE: The costumes/masks were shown on social-media by photos. INTERVIEW: The 'Strangers' posted their (anonymous) deed on Detroit's net. DETECTIVE: There's no clue that the posters themselves were the Strangers. INTERVIEW: Damn...and that's because these posters were hyping the crime? DETECTIVE: It's all hearsay, and we have to remain skeptical about social-media! INTERVIEW: Perchance these 'Strangers' are hackers/terrorists (anti-cyber)? DETECTIVE: Anything's possible in a dystopian's mindset (damn). DETECTIVE: This football 'field' goal had something to do with 'space' shares. INTERVIEW: Super Bowl revenue's become a hallmark for American Homeland IQ! DETECTIVE: The couple's Detroit area town-house is now an iconic museum, no? INTERVIEW: Perchance the 'Strangers' made mark for access-culture nihilism? DETECTIVE: Something to indicate they're no fans of Ace Ventura (damn). INTERVIEW: Evil in our midst...real estate value (shoot). INTERVIEW: This couple was a typical American marriage-image. DETECTIVE: The 'Strangers' sought to make 'mark' of traffic-nihilism, ok. INTERVIEW: Maybe the 'Strangers' double as bank-robbers; crime-lore/maps? DETECTIVE: This case has become an American sub-culture mask-tale, no? INTERVIEW: Any signs of terrorism-hand axes (foreign)? DETECTIVE: We've no reason to think the marked-couple was 'American' sign! INTERVIEW: Their football card 'trophy' was (then) cast as a grave doubt. DETECTIVE: Sports culture nightmares (not Facebook-like!). DETECTIVE: I'm a Bowl-fan (college/pro). INTERVIEW: Fan of Notre Dame and the Rams, detective? DETECTIVE: Who doesn't like Ian Book or Matt Stafford, friend? INTERVIEW: The 'Strangers' certainly were Lions-fans, ok. DETECTIVE: We don't want 'copycat' hysteria for antisocial measure, friend. INTERVIEW: Think the story in memoir...'Strangers' holding-downs (for the Ego). INTERVIEW: Good luck...and happy Pro-Bowl visit/defense/securities. DETECTIVE: Thanksgiving for dolls of Detroit (ok).
