Town-Up

A Story by Abishai100
"

Can Boston-town hand-axes of displaced street-gossip make for a diamond-heist hyperbole in a 21st-Century pseudo-vigilante yarn concerning 'merry-men' end zones?

"
A New England heist-dialysis inspired loosely by The Town (Ben Affleck). Thanks for reading,

AMLAN: This shall be a cute Halloween bank-heist of these diamonds (Boston).
RAKI: You know anything about this mystery baron owner of the company?
AMLAN: We'd rather not know, pal; Boston-town's got enough cyber-diplomacy.
RAKI: Cool enough.

BANK MANAGER: We don't want sully-talk with Baron Ion, honestly!
INTERVIEW: This was some Halloween act for insurance in street-rumors?
BANK MANAGER: You report the two guys with water-guns filled with acid was IQ.
INTERVIEW: Chemical warfare with Ion's (insured) diamonds.
BANK MANAGER: We know nothing (farewell).

Amlan and Rak, pals from Dartmouth, had found the right-tones for New England (Boston-town) defiance of the mysterious Baron Ion whose company had been moving diamonds from around the fare-rich 21st-Century Earth, from places as varied as Auckland, Brussels, and Charlottesville. The Halloween act came with the two Town-musketeers making a street-show about eco-capitalism and then seeking media-stunt Ion-box photos and then using their theater prop water-guns filled with acid to make a box-burn.

GUARDSMAN: They left me some insurance note.
OFFICER CHARLIE: What's it read, pal?
GUARDSMAN: "Ion's rival has insured-gems street-rumor theater for detectives."
OFFICER CHARLIE: Interpol-relations (Happy Halloween).

If Baron Ion wasn't so mysteriously evil, Amlan/Raki would've been cast in this Town-legend/map as simplified 'merry-men' thieves, but the fact that his street-aura offered evil hand-axes gave the Halloween deed a special vigilante 'fee' for dodecahedrons, and perchance this New England 'faerie-tale' has the marks for commerce/consumerism treasures (insurance) motions for the language arts of what makes Earth-space capitalism a 'field' goal laughter for all that's (simplified) dyslexia.

WAITRESS: I'm being courted by that other customer, good-man.
AMLAN: I can sense it, but you're the one for me, lady.
WAITRESS: He's very rich, good-man.
AMLAN: Is he Bostonian (ha)?

"Doing well is the result of doing good. That's what capitalism is all about" (Ralph Waldo Emerson).
