A lovely young college couple tied to the media-world was celebrating its school lacrosse event in the warm Saturday that season on-campus when it was discovered they'd been stalked by a homegrown terrorist, an American madman who went by the alias Endymion.

The couple liked movies. They liked movies about romance and innocence and of adventure and sports, and this maniac (Endymion) hoped to be targeting them on social-media as a 'target-IQ' for the destruction of 'chess-clubs' on college campuses fostering youth-networks and social enthusiasm for modern cinema/TV culture/consumerism.

Fortunately, this couple had the season-wit(s) to contact the campus detective-duo (Amlan/Shelbye) who'd become micro-celebs for their extra-credit chess-gifts with detangling horrid campus intrigue of darkness or crime(s) and took the job after the phone call they received at their office about the 3rd Saturday of that LAX college-athletics season.

AMLAN: Me thinks this 'Endymion' fellow searches to 'link' the lacrosse with the World Series (somehow).

SHELBYE: He's a television-enemy (certainly!), and we've got to protect our campus 'angels' for social-media!

ENDYMION: I received this strange cyber-blog mosaic in my net-search vision about the campus-detectives using 'cool' youth-media/games stats (e.g., Dickerson-Tecmo football sports education) facilitating student-use of social-media for modern education and learn all this melee's simply down-washing my 'Crusade' to destroy the campus-spirit(s) for lacrosse as the World Series approaches and hence retreat/retire to Detroit/Vancouver in all humility (damn).

AMLAN: The 'retreat' notice on the campus-net surely comforted our campus-angels and secured lacrosse!

SHELBYE: Surely; in fact, our little 'eviction' vision should help city-cops trail darkness (Endymion) for class.

The following month, Amlan/Shelbye read in the college newspaper that a mystery-craft crash-landed on a beach near their school, and it was some kind of invisibility-cloaked Martian-ship which was non-invisible following the horrid landing but was abandoned. Was this a sign of the Apocalypse? Amlan/Satan understood (perfectly) then their diplomat-role(s) on Earth regarding a 'perfect' casting of problem-solving at any level (as vigilance-heroes?), be it for campus psychopaths...or alien evacuation(s)!

AMLAN: Perhaps the definition of humanness requires 'chess' praise(s) for strong Earth!

SHELBYE: Surely; in fact, perhaps we'd been 'reared' as race emissaries of this Order of eternity (hmm).
