Poseidon Eveready: Georgetown

Poseidon Eveready: Georgetown

A Story by Abishai100
"

Medusa/Poseidon wager a campus-intelligentsia wager over the civilization-IQ symbolism surrounding casino-chess drives.

"
An ideological view of capitalism-civilization study or 'general philosophy' inspired loosely by Quiz Show (Robert Redford). Enjoy,

Poseidon, god of the seas and armed with his trident of war-wisdom, was 'spying' on the intrigue of Georgetown-chess and made diagrams of wonder(s) of human civilization-IQ and democracy geometry. He wished to coordinate sports-culture media (NCAA-TV) with socialized views on capitalism on Earth.

POSEIDON: I'll transform/disguise myself as a Georgetown professor of cognition-science(s) and perform illustrations of IQ!

Poseidon became the human prince-professor Amlan Satan and took up a residency at Georgetown-DC and created a special course on the quality of chess-play and strategy gaming for sports-TV access since chess was considered a 'diadem' of competition/sportsmanship on Facebook!

POSEIDON (Amlan Satan): I'll be casting a special war-robot military-vehicle model toy (Hound-G1) for castings of dollars!

Meanwhile, much sparks flew in the Georgetown NCAA-season as the Hoyas basketball team were poised to reach far 'heights' of greatness and cast its own 'history' on TV regarding the nature of earned celebrity.

Medusa, snake-headed underworld demon-deity of hypnosis, decided to challenge Poseidon on his Earth-quest to make Georgetown chess-club(s) a diadem for capitalism-IQ in the sports-TV era of NCAA imagination and broadcasts for democracy by transforming/disguising herself as a university temp-exchange student named Pamela Isely.

MEDUSA (Pamela): I'll be forming a special 'Casino-Club' at Georgetown to rival Poseidon's chess-club(s) for capitalism fury.

MEDUSA: Most youngsters prefer the energy/excitement of gambling-games like Blackjack to the strategy-tedium of chess!
POSEIDON: Well, chess remains a 'still' imagery of strategy-choreography in the dominion of consumerism decision-making.
MEDUSA: It was the Casino that reflected the symbolic energy/buzz of capitalism.
POSEIDON: It's chess-strategy that reminds us of the 'splendors' of the Gulf War and defense of capitalism production.

Medusa's scheme began to work nicely and her casino-club at Georgetown had begun inciting strange/deviant forms of 'experimental' anti-capitalism behaviors in the streets, while Poseidon's chess-venture remained a steady form of socialized diagram-intellectualism regarding capitalism ideations and governance hierarchies. Poseidon decided to enlist the help of the campus-police in promoting Safe-Trade policies among students conducting online-merchant work (eBay) so as to counter this Casino-club anarchy used by the subversive Medusa in the advertising of environmental turbulence!

MEDUSA: You know, they'll consider this casino-chess 'rivalry' (Georgetown) rather nifty and attractive, no?
POSEIDON: Sure; let's at least 'think' such a game-of-theory shall promote intelligentsia-artworks (Georgetown)!

As the Hoyas rolled into a glorious basketball-TV season for commercial sports-broadcast era audiences, Poseidon/Medusa celebrate the intellectual intrigue they'd generated on the campus regarding their microscopic casino-chess rivalry or wager regarding the 'psyche-motives' behind socialized rituals concerning Earth civilization-IQ defense.

MEDUSA: We're both right; casino and chess both symbolize 'pure' psychology!
POSEIDON: Sure; I remain a 'steadfast' champion of chess-play as a diplomat of intelligence-deviance control(s).
