The Viola Romance*A Story by Abishai100Portrait of a father-son getting over divorce together and meeting a new 'gal' for restoration(s) in a 'sideshow' about baseball-card doctorates.
A quickie baseball love-letter inspired loosely by Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine). Thanks for reading,

==== I'm a diamond-industry investor from Brussels and have a wealth-chest of incredible American baseball-cards which I intended to gift completely to my son after my first divorce and presented some of these diamonds for Facebook-IQ, since everyone likes the convenience of finding treasures on social-media these days! However, during one baseball-game trip to Minnesota, in which the Twins challenged the Braves, I took my special favorite Frank Viola Twins Fleer card with me and met a gorgeous female baseball fan named Sandy who happened to be an 'immaculate' Twins fan. My son (Damian) and I took her out to lunch/coffee after the game and we fell in love, and she wanted the Viola-card which I intended to gift to Damian in any case. SANDY: You've got this 'darling' artwork of a father-son baseball-play act rendition, darling. ME: I know, it reminds me why baseball-IQ is a casting of 'immaculate' social-media, ya know. SANDY: So...can I have that Viola-card, darling? ME: Only if we fall in love, Sandy! Sandy and I got married, and when she gifted me a Toy-Story darling chess-set for a wedding-gift, custom-crafted, I knew then she'd be the right gal to get over the divorce Damian and I endured from my first/failed marriage in Belgium (Simona). I decided the Viola-card, which was a diamond for Damian, would be 'OK' in Sandy's purse (now), because she'd added something Damian and I lacked in our lives until now --- a 2nd diagonal. SANDY: I love going to Dodgers games with Damian and my hubby in our new home-city now; the fans remind all of beauty. The truth is, baseball won't cure cancer or solve the world-problem of war-driven competition-consciousness or even rival the intelligence-IQ of chess-intrigue at the level of the Cold War (Fischer-Spassky!), but what it has certainly 'achieved' for Sandy and Damian and me, my new 'little-family' in the West, is a special 'diamond' for tales of darkness. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
