==== I was at a special Calgary dept.-store when I spotted a major media-mogul there with his media-star girlfriend shopping for robot-toys for their children's fan-group for a special event in the area linked to the ice-hockey team reaching the Cup-playoffs, making this North American dept.-store the area of some dandy intrigue for the press! The media-figure was staring at another woman at the dept.-store on the day of the robot-toy shopping in Calgary. This media-figure seemed 'transfixed' by this young woman who'd been wearing a special ice-hockey jersey/sweater and wondered why the media-figure was staring, and this man was 'hinting' that he'd just seen an iconic film about the value(s) of children's-media and wondered about the roles stars played in the recognition of pedestrianism designs/imaginations! The media-mogul's girlfriend and the woman in the ice-hockey jersey/sweater both wondered about the reason(s) the man was staring at the random Calgary pedestrian-citizen donning/wearing the ice-hockey (Flames!) sweater/jersey and thought to themselves, "Facebook/social-media culture advances traffic-IQ regarding accessible forms of shopping AD." Well, that's not the true point of this 'faerie-tale' inside this Calgary dept.-store, folks. You see, I'm a 'faerie' (tiny soaring winged humanoid from the forest with a message of wisdom/warning). I transformed into a human (North American) citizen and costumed shopper with a toy red-machine gun and wandered into the Star-Wars area of the store when the media-mogul was 'staring' at the citizen in her ice-hockey jersey/sweater. ME: I noticed you 'appreciating' the Calgary-shopper in the Flames-jersey/sweater! MEDIA-MAN: I'm a big 'fan' of the pedestrian 'daydream' in North America (haha). ME: You sound like you're 'into' the whole 'capitalism' fabric(s), good sir. MEDIA-MAN: Are you a fan of traffic-oriented cinema, good fellow? ME: As you can 'plainly' see, I'm costumed as a gypsy with a toy-gun! MEDIA-MAN: What's your message today (inside this good store)? ME: Well, I intend to take photos of you in the pose(s) suggesting highway-theft! MEDIA-MAN: What? ME: Yeah...it's for a Facebook/cyber-blog about the 'quality' of mock-journalism in North America. MEDIA-MAN: Why? ME: Well, as you yourself noticed/appreciated...pedestrian 'fashion(s)' hint at human magic. MEDIA-MAN: You saw me 'staring' at that Flames-woman in her ice-hockey sweater/jersey? ME: I'm costumed here today inside the store for this cyber-message about 'designed' capitalism! MEDIA-MAN: So, this 'blog' and photo-imagery of yours will cater to some 'nifty' continental comics. ME: Indeed...you've become a special 'civilization' diplomat, good sir. MEDIA-MAN: You look...cool! That day, I purchased an iconic/classic Cubs 2nd-year (Topps) card with my 'earned/won' money and took that Flames-woman inside the dept.-store to a romantic engagement --- an ice-hockey game. We ended up getting married. I ended up writing a book about consumerism merchandising which won me the Pulitzer in North America (Calgary!). I never ran across that media-mogul again, but what I remember/cherish now is the 'quality' of capitalism storytelling (as a humanoid-faerie 'integrated' into civilization as a 'good' citizen). MEDIA-MOGUL: We'll invest in some 'serious' Calgary ice-hockey infrastructure for the good-folks and their kids-art. WIFE: Let's go see that 'hot' recent/modern film about the 'color(s)' of social-human distance(s), darling husband. ME: Someday, my dear lady, you'll find out I'm the 'red-faerie' with the message(s) of society drawings. CALGARY POST: As the Flames lift the Cup this year, will consumers recount the 'glory-days' of ambition-preceding-fame? "The nature of celebrity/capitalism is the 'hoisting' of the design of civilization 'diadems' for data" (Red-Faerie, Me!). Now, as a married-man in Calgary and ice-hockey fan/dad, I wonder alongside my darling wife if that day inside the dept.-store with that media-mogul and his lady if what I'd learned/discovered was a conversational sense of 'capitalism fitness' in this social-media era of 'liberal' chats about consumerism-lifestyle (and distance!).
