The Good DoctorA Story by Abishai100A vignette/portrait of a bright medical-doctor who's presented as a modern-day 'genius' of health-dimes.
A story inspired by the film The Doctor.
==== Dr. Ivon worked at St. Elsewhere for a few years, out in Detroit, and he'd been a rotating specialist-consultant, an expert physician, immunology analyst, multi-tasking surgeon, and brain fMR-presenter! He'd been on cases as varied as Ebola, toxoplasmosis, chicken-pox in a fetus, heart-breaks among pygmies (while in Sierra Leone!), and blood-borne diseases in Belfast (Northern Ireland) during the Coronavirus tribulation of 2020. He'd won the Nobel Prize for his contributions to systems-medicine with the Salk Institute, after having discovered a general-theory of immunology treatments involving lifestyle-consciousness informing understandings of vitamin/medicine/nutrition scheduling coordinated with lifestyle activity/exercise/fitness. He was called by his critics as a high-brow Jack Lalane and his fans as a low-brow Dr. Seuss. He'd been most complimented for his strange neurosurgery on an infant-child affected with a mysterious growing brain cyst which he'd treaded by not only removing the cyst-tissue but also rewiring the brain-tissue/fibers surrounding the cyst to create adequate plasticity-drive cell-repair buffer moisture space. This was the story of a 'real-life' Dr. Seuss, which was made obvious when he retired just after writing a fairy-tale/short about a Green Fairy who performs medical operations on children in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) suffering from schizophrenia. This was a modern-story about a real genius...and a mad democrat. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) {Dr. Ivon} © 2021 Abishai100 |
