==== Amlan wanders around various cities in the UK, in England and Northern Ireland, looking for magic in supermarkets, since he's persuaded that consumerism/capitalism can save the light of day. ![]() He's been chasing the 'markets dreamcatcher' since reading a cross-comparison political work describing similarities in anticolonial experiences with economics edging. ![]() Amlan believes if he searches for the right 'magic' in supermarkets or stores in the UK (England/Northern Ireland), he'll find some strange mysticism behind his endless curiosity about the superstition behind contemplation of vanity. ![]() AMLAN: Money is everything, and I think I'll find dolls of peace and spiritualism in some store or market, an answer to terror. ![]() Maybe Amlan's just a dreamer, or maybe he's read too many comic books, or maybe he actually believes that searching for the signposts of color/artistry behind the 'graphic monotony' of normal Western traffic will lead him to some great revelation about the accessibility of youthful innocence! ![]() AMLAN: You never know who's sitting at home daydreaming on a beach-porch before going to the store and revealing faith! ![]() Faith is expensive. That's true for our Coronavirus era and time of great cyber-corruption, hackers, terrorists, and political insanity! However, there's some strange magic and truth behind Amlan's quest for 'hidden superstition' in the UK (England/Northern Ireland) store/supermarket. ![]() AMLAN: Why can't I think there's some superheroine in some supermarket or store with some super-idea about lights? ![]() Since 9/11, thinking finding great magic in an ordinary capitalism hub/node like a supermarket seems...gullible. ![]() AMLAN: I don't think it's gullible to think yourself a 'magic-fairy' searching for a pot-'o-gold in a great capitalism site. ![]() What if Amlan's wrong, and our terrorism-age is headed towards more and more holocausts of the imagination? I don't think he's wrong? I'm actually excited to go to the supermarket, in search of some 'dollar' truth...or magic, be I Catholic or Protestant or alien! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
