Now, Aquagirl was intent on visiting democratic United States during the 20th-anniversary year commemoration/celebrations of 9/11, when anti-Western civilization terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center (NYC) with hijacked passenger airplanes! Aquagirl wanted to transform herself into an American baseball (sports) fan and cheer on democratic media/marketing/consumerism and the sports-media film Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise).

AQUAGIRL: California is both sunny and fragile, lots of immigrants/traffic, and a terrible earthquake-faultline!

Aquagirl decided to use her uncanny ability to proliferate the psyche-magic of color and imagination to cheer on the California baseball (sports) team the Oakland Athletics ("A's"), and she started collecting various A's mementos/paraphernalia to make her more connected to the Oakland baseball moods/tones.

AQUAGIRL: Oakland's a city of immigrants/traffic but also blood-diamond smuggling, and I need a hero-ally for this crusade.

Aquagirl wanted to find a male-ally who'd celebrate her love of Oakland A's baseball and American patriotic-spirit in this 20th-anniversary commemoration year of 9/11. She decided to attend A's games with her special nifty-Coronavirus mask on, transformed into a human-looking brunette named Kirsten, and looked in the fan-crowds for a male-ally to recruit for her inter-religious pro-American crusade.

She found a handsome Ivy League student and now UCLA professor named Amlan Satan (code-name: Storm-Shadow) who'd been studying capitalism-matrices in Africa/Europe tied to blood-diamond smuggler-finances used for criminal underworlds complicating already politically-challenged areas of Northern Ireland (Belfast) in the United Kingdom. You see, blood-diamonds were adding to piracy intent among the Irish-Catholic minority and British-Protestant majority population in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) and corrupting the order attempted/erected by IRA/UVF to limit British police-military retaliation force/violence directed to quell guerrilla-actions defying the socioeconomic disparities between the two dominant denominations of the world Christian community. Amlan Satan ('Storm-Shadow') was therefore a real-life blood-diamond 'James Bond' figure in modern times and worked to create inter-religious coops in the United Kingdom with connected Interpol-relations diamond-lifts/monitors in North America (California). Aquagirl fell in love with this unusual man, Storm-Shadow!

Ironically or incidentally, Storm-Shadow kept a vintage valued Oakland A's star-rookie card in his California loft safe-box alongside the blood-diamonds he'd managed to lift/swap with 'toy gems' in media-mock stunts designed to send messages that blood-diamond barons wouldn't control the social prestige of underground capitalism.

AQUAGIRL: Storm-Shadow's the perfect agent in this modern Earth anarchy of guerrilla-actions defying real underworld evil.

AQUAGIRL: We'll attend services (Sunday Mass) at an Irish-Catholic church in Oakland after a Saturday A's game, darling.
