Dark Phoenix was once the heroine Jean Grey with telepathic potential. However, she was fused with a strange solar chemical which rendered her as an immortally potent fire-shooter. Now, Dark Phoenix wished to transform into a humanoid female to infiltrate the CIA in Northern Ireland. Dark Phoenix became the anti-intelligence spy Xenia Onatopp and trekked to Belfast where she worked to undermine the government work to destabilize warlord blood-diamond control used to finance rogue terrorism threatening talks between Sinn Fein and Parliament!

Fortunately, an Algerian-American government operative working in Northern Ireland named Amlan Satan (code-name: 'Sparrow') was there to confront and defy this new subversion scheme created by Xenia Onatopp ('Dark Phoenix'). Satan/Sparrow created youth-targeted comic book drawings of female heroines working to bring serious institutional reliefs to masked underground operatives trying to forge negotiations between Sinn Fein and Parliament. No one knew Satan's real name was Casey Jones. Satan/Sparrow posted these politically-conscious doodles all over Belfast and on the Net so youngsters could find them and use them as references for new era democratic rhetoric!

SATAN/SPARROW: I'll be looting the blood-diamonds of Belfast barons with water-guns filled with acid, to make dilemmas!

Xenia Onatopp (Dark Phoenix) despised Amlan Satan (Sparrow). She viewed him as a new era idealist and democracy-defender who defied her fascist scheme to use mind-games to destroy negotiations in the UK in the new millennium. Onatopp/Phoenix resolved to destroy the reputation and mystique of Sparrow. However, Sparrow's no fool!

PHOENIX: Who you think you are, Sparrow?

SPARROW: Why, I'm just a 'modern man,' my lady!
PHOENIX: I ain't your lady, Sparrow!
SPARROW: You remind me of a dangerous woman, Onatopp.
PHOENIX: I'll destroy your democratic vision in Belfast, Sparrow.
SPARROW: Really?
PHOENIX: Yes, really!
SPARROW: Well, you won't have a blind audience.
PHOENIX: What?
SPARROW: People today care about network customs and values.
PHOENIX: Even in troubled Belfast?
SPARROW: Especially in Belfast.
PHOENIX: Well, I'm not swayed by 'network rhetoric' or propaganda!
SPARROW: Media age creates certain socialized dance.
PHOENIX: You're a blind follower of old-world governance.
SPARROW: Without governance, there's no real dollars.
PHOENIX: You're nothing but a thief, Sparrow.
SPARROW: My lady, I'm simply an advocate of socialized rituals.
PHOENIX: I imagine you're some fan of televised college sports cheering!

SPARROW: How'd you guess, my lady?

Dark Phoenix (Xenia Onatopp) was infuriated by Sparrow's sense of democratic defiance in Northern Ireland, However, she recognized his shrewd acumen in dissecting socialized rituals constructing governance biases and could use this understanding to shape negotiation ambitions between Sinn Fein and Parliament. Onatopp now knew she'd be contending with a real demon in the deceptive vigilante Sparrow!
