==== It was a cold rainy season in Los Angeles, and I mean cold like it's not usually not colder than average 60 degrees in southern California, but in this cold rainy season, temps sank down to as low as 50 degrees. Some proposed it was simply because of global warming trends, but no one can say for sure! This is the time of the evil Harlequin, a seductive and dangerous and honestly insane clown-costumed anarchist and urban menace. Harlequin was shockingly once the esteemed UCLA psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel but decided to forsake her life of medical service to adopt a life of pure crime. Maybe it was the hours. Maybe one of her deranged patients deflated her. Who knows? Today, Harlequin is the ultimate druglord of Los Angeles (LA), and she wields very strange weapons like giant cloth-hammers and crossbows fitted with large shooting needles and distributes similar weapons to her narcotics-dominion ghouls such as poison-soaked stockings and smoke-bombs. HARLEQUIN: I won't rest in this damn City of Angels 'till everyone confesses it belongs to me without doubt. Of course, Harlequin was no saint or heroine to the Los Angeles Police Department! She'd become an angel of hell, bringing in quality opium from Asia, marijuana from South America, cocaine from Canada, and crystal-meth from Russia. She had connections to just about everything and everyone. She even courted some unholy politicians tied to Vatican City. The evil and sinister Harlequin had indeed made LA her private haven of hell. Her narcotics-dominion, street-enforced with costumed gargoyles wielding weapons of flames, reflected a natural modern fear of complete urban police. Harlequin was the antithesis of Joan of Arc. She suggest to adults and kids alike that the criminal flavor of the modern city was one of total rebelliousness and homelessness. Yet, her own drug palace in the City of Angels was anything but a treasury for vagrant pirates and in fact suggested to her rivals that narcotics might be a modern-day potion for urban fascism. HARLEQUIN: I want Senators to turn on the news on television and notice the breadth of narcotics depression in the city! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
