The flight crew of the Nostradamus landed on uncharted planet LG-426 in the year 2090. The Weyland space-exploration company on Earth had established this important space-mission and selected the right crew-members to serve as humanity diplomats to planet LG-426. There was an intelligent communication signal emanating from the planet and the Weyland Company picked up on it and sent the Nostromo crew to investigate.

Back on Earth, students were busy using media and technologies to keep pace with all these exciting Nostromo/Weyland activities regarding the landing on uncharted planet LG-426. Students in high-school and college used advanced computers to study the ergonomics and impact of this sophisticated space-exploration mission and the possibility that contact with an intelligent alien could alter the way humans conceived of everyday disasters!

Weyland Company even distributed countless company-brand T-shirts to students around the world! These Weyland products signified a new 'fashion aesthetic' geared towards the marketing of space-exploration imagination. The hope of course was that ideas and dialogue online about alien-contact would become a natural pedestrian imagination, regardless of the outcome of the Nostromo mission on LG-426.

Captain Orem was the youngest Weyland space-astronaut to be selected as the commander of a vital mission, and the Nostromo mission would reveal if the aliens on LG-426 were hostile or peaceful, so Orem prepared himself mentally.

CAPTAIN OREM: I don't know what these 'aliens' seek but Peter Weyland and I call them 'Xenomorph' aliens in private.

Second-in-command was Monica Manara, an excellent pilot and shooter. She'd be guiding and training the Nostromo crew as they embarked on a terrain exploration of LG-426, ready to shoot at the 'Xenomorph' aliens should they prove to be hostile in any way. Captain Orem told Manara that Weyland wanted evidence of 'Xenomorph' contact at all costs. Manara remained skeptical about the Company's intentions but trusted Orem.

There were other members of the Nostromo crew who served a non-military capacity, and these members may be artists or philosophers sent to add some 'communication spice' for the potential alien-meeting event on LG-426.

CAPTAIN OREM: Because our crew members may be both women and men, older and younger, we're prepared for duties!

In fact, all the crew of the Nostromo were well-balanced between their duties of scientific exploration and military activity. They're prepared either to shoot or to study. Orem and Manara have prepared them for just about anything. This is the hope of the future for the Weyland Company, so the Nostromo crew are eager to present themselves as diplomats of disaster or daylight.

One of the artists on the Nostromo crew has already begun making comic book panel-art about the potential engagement experience with these possibly egg-laying 'Xenomorph' aliens. The intelligent communication signals emanating from uncharted planet LG-426 were dissected by Weyland and thought to reveal a rough estimation of the gross morphology and consciousness of these aliens, and the Nostromo artist has been busy rending portraits of these imaginations for humans!

OREM: This planet is cold and ominous, Manara!
MANARA: I concur, Captain Orem.

WEYLAND: We believe there're all kinds of views on how to engage with 'Xenomorph' intelligence, and we account for danger.

XENOMORPH ALIEN: You puny humans have no scope of the depth of inter-species competition on this uncharted planet.

Orem and Manara sadly learned these insect-dragon like 'Xenomorph' aliens were anything but nice. They're incredible competitive and have lured humans to LG-426 for an egg-laying experiment for eventual colonization of planet Earth. When Orem informs Weyland, he's horrified to learn the company considers the Nostromo expendable and simply wants appropriate photographic accounts of the aliens' evolution!

MANARA: We've brought back a scaled sculpture of the Xenomorph aliens for the Company, Mr. Weyland.

WEYLAND: I congratulate your crew for surviving this ordeal, Orem.
OREM: You're sending another crew back for more engagements with the Xenomorphs, sir?
WEYLAND: Of course we are, captain.
OREM: Is our future with these aliens one of perpetual analysis, sir?
WEYLAND: Of course it is, captain.

The future remained uncertain, but what was certain was that there was an incredible air of curiosity regarding survival-potential with these insect-dragon aliens on the uncharted planet. Weyland remained as always a beacon for ambition.
