The valiant Inspector Gadget, his niece Penny, and their dog-sidekick Brain, travel to Germany to prevent the evil Dr. Claw from destroying the iconic Autobahn!

I've always been a huge fan of Inspector Gadget cartoons and this sign-off piece is a non-heist related fan-fiction about the inventive crime-fighter and his buddies working against the terrorism of Dr. Claw in Europe to deliver the modern world a fresh sense of imaginative diaries. Inspector Gadget, the affable cyborg-detective, and his crime-fighting partners Penny (his niece) and Brain (their buddy pet dog) were famous for battling the terrorist schemes of the evil organization MAD and its vile and mysterious leader Doctor Claw.

Dr. Claw was the epitome of fascism and tyranny and devised MAD schemes to destroy important infrastructures in modern civilization, such as the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Sydney Opera House (SOH).

Now, Inspector Gadget was on the trail of the villainous Dr. Claw and would use all his resources to track the mad genius to Germany where he suspected MAD was devising a terrorist attack on the Autobahn, the iconic speed-highway for fast cars, compelling the dashing inspector to be incredibly decisive.

PENNY: "I'll help my uncle Gadget chase Dr. Claw to the Autobahn with the use of our cyber-research tools!"

GADGET: "Brain will be standing on the grassy sidewalks by the Autobahn scouring for Claw cars to bark to Penny."

Now, the Autobahn was such a legendary raceway and speed-car driving road in Europe/Germany that it'd become symbolic of modern imagination, and the last thing anyone wanted was a 9/11 scaled trauma on the Autobahn!

DR. CLAW: "I'll destroy the Autobahn and replace it with some kind of mega-computer structure for tyrants."

If terrorists like MAD agents destroyed the iconic Autobahn speed-highway, there'd be no telling as to what kinds of new age terrorism would reach all levels of traffic and infrastructure vital to modern global capital and communications!

Meanwhile, back in the USA, new triple gangs of bank robbers known as the Highwaymen were making their mark as complements of Dr. Claw's MAD organization, intent on turning finance and capital into a gambler's ditch!
