Storm-Shadow: American PieA Story by Abishai100Storm-Shadow is a CIA operative who returns to America and discovers some of the fine branches of social distancing.
So I'm signing off with a comics-inspired holiday-season vignette. Stay safe and God bless,

==== Storm-Shadow as the ultimate undercover operative for the CIA and working for the special Cobra mission to rid the United Kingdom of Protestant-Catholic divisions. He was working as an IRA agent helping draw funds for munitions with bank robbery, all the while building secret bridges between Sinn Fein and Parliament. When Storm-Shadow went home to America, he began thinking about all the bounty and fortune that democracy-loving peoples enjoyed in a country where religious pluralism was much more...dogmatic! STORM-SHADOW: "Every time I see a painting of the Twin Towers in New York that were destroyed by terrorists on 9.11, I think about the tragedy of anti-democracy angst in modern civilization challenging our goals towards pure daylight." Of course, when Storm-Shadow returned to the USA, he was thinking of the ages of problems in our own country. Problems such as racism and urban gang wars created political angst and complicated the development of pluralism in America, a problem echoed in films like Colors and Gangs of New York. Storm-Shadow thought about the value of storytelling! Storm-Shadow also praised the value of American holiday-season consumerism and how kids loved Xbox video-games and gift-wrap and TV ads about toys that would be harvested by shoppers in malls. This was an American custom, really. Americans love basic and simple capitalism. Even the controversies of free-speech and media access to graphic media, including pornography and horror-cinema and descriptive comics, suggested that America's greatest challenge was the democracy of dollars. STORM-SHADOW: "I remain very inspired by the simple truth that in America, capitalism breeds cross-cultural exchanges at the shopping mall, and this is very much more sane than in areas such as Belfast, where inter-religious conflicts confound dialogue even during the toy season." Storm-Shadow met a gorgeous American Airlines stewardess named Amelie who stirred his imagination about the potential for love in times of great traffic intrigue and terrorism fears. He thought about what kinds of Hollywood (USA) movie she might like and could enjoy with her perhaps at a drive-in during the Coronavirus tribulation. Storm-Shadow realized the intrigue of society was to find sentiment in seas of danger! STORM-SHADOW: "Perhaps I'm like a 'thief' of the civilization diary." ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2020 Abishai100 |
