Isaac relays his account of the progression of the great 'legion' of darkness in the American city, coming in the form of modernizing metaphysical dreamers!

One more post-retirement return-vignette, and it capitulates a great deal of my varied interests in modernism-relevant dystopian storytelling, and this extra crystal-ball was inspired by

In the older generation, the fury of the street in the real underworld of modernizing America came in the form of gangs with full pageantry. These mostly-male gangs in the American city liked to parade in fancy colors and dress and wielded very effective weaponry and items such as bats and slingshots! This was the first era of a mob mobilization of great human darkness.

After 9/11, the world became on-edge about the scope and power of American capitalism, since fundamentalist terrorists destroyed the commerce-symbolic World Trade Center in NYC! Now, the world was a new form of complexity, and the emergent legion of darkness came in the form of veiled vampires, prowling the American city late at night, in fun style and dark demeanor. In other words, the evolution of civilization had yielded a colored legion of special urban depression.

What will the future hold for the American city, and how will the legion of darkness progress to embrace a larger radius of human vanity? We might imagine a futuristic Chicago (USA) gang called the Robots designing deadly mecha-spiders to troll the streets and deliver bombs to unnerve the social sensibility that any American city is beloved and requires security! Perhaps this future legion of darkness will come in the form of dogma.

My name's Isaac Satan, and I was a member of a Chicago gang in the new millennium before fleeing to Geneva where I could work on comic book stylized color-Bible picture-books for kids. I decided to transform myself and leave my life of anti-social gangs and embrace the Christian aesthetic of humanity! My new art is to defy the legion of darkness by celebrating the tangibility of basic (and profitable!) democracy.

GOD: I believe Isaac is an earnest man capable of great influence.

SATAN: He certainly changed his lfe and embraced religious art!
GOD: It seems if Isaac made more money with gang-life, he'd not consider Christianity.

SATAN: There's a strange irony and surprise associated with evolving dollars!

This is a timely tale in light of what happened with the Falwells. However, it reads more like a summary than a story.
