Daredevil: American VigilanteA Story by Abishai100Matt Murdock (Daredevil) contends with a super-terrorist so he can be canonized as a true American vigilante who cares about the security of the everyday American citizen.
Here's a fun Marvel Comics fan-fiction about the American superhero Daredevil, which is a better way to sign off I think rather than a politics or heist themed story, since those are rather heavy-handed. So I hope you read this and enjoy it, and thanks again to all my readers and friends who've commented and reviewed and read my pieces; I'll use this terrific inspirational experience to reflect on what makes writing simply so delightful. Signing off (finally),

==== Daredevil (Matt Murdock) had become America's greatest superhero. Blinded at a young age by a toxic waste accident, Murdock developed his extra-sensory skills at fighting and using his double rope-baton made of hard steel to fight crime in the city. Daredevil had become a great hero and a good friend to the American citizen. He'd taken down ruthless crime syndicates, a nefarious politician, a disfigured maniac named Leatherface, and he was now dealing with a demonic villain known as Bullseye. Daredevil appeared on the cover of a magazine which was translated into a painting which was kept in a D.C. museum. He was now set to be canonized as the American vigilante that people felt really good about, but he'd have to deal with Bullseye first to earn this special extra laurel. BULLSEYE: "I'll destroy this masked vigilante called Daredevil, and I'll make sure this dark city of Detroit burns with the flames of Hell before I allow this superhero wonder-kid to foil my plans to introduce the fine layers of evil into the minds of Americans!" Daredevil was tracking Bullseye, who'd performed some serious acts of terrorism all across the USA. Bullseye was the prime suspect in the bombing of the Seattle Space Needle and the kidnapping of the First Lady. He was also connected with the Middle Eastern super-terrorist organization known as Isis. Daredevil wondered how he'd be able to corner this master of crime Bullseye who wielded throwing-stars as his lethal weapon, launching them towards the necks of this prey. Daredevil would at least have to make sure he wielded his own double-baton rope-weapon of steel ends perfectly so Bullseye's master targeting would not carry the day once they finally engaged in combat, perhaps on a shadowy rooftop in Detroit. While Daredevil tracked the rogue terrorist and crime-master Bullseye, the evil Bullseye had managed to siege control of an Ivy League school and held the entire administrative building hostage. He promised to set off bombs in the athletic stadium and cafeterias and dorms with his remote detonators if he wasn't paid $50 million and promised that his excommunicated terrorists, who were so lethally mad that they were disbarred from their own terrorist groups in the UK and Middle East, were released from Interpol prison as soon as possible. Now, it dawned on Daredevil that Bullseye was no joke and would stop at nothing to use terrorism to bring a giant umbrella of blood over the hearts of the American people. Daredevil now knew that what Bullseye was really doing was using fireworks and turbulence to create terrorism imagination. Daredevil therefore resolved to re-seize control over the mind of the American citizen as well as the news by performing a daring pre-planned heist of Fort Knox, the U.S. government fortress-bank holding an incredible amount of national gold. Daredevil explained to the U.S. President he'd perform the robbery so he could use the media to send Bullseye the message that he'd not monopolize the imagination of daring or reckless intrigue or even turbulence itself and that American crime-fighters possessed as much dark courage as he did. The President thought this idea was very clever, since it would insult and enrage Bullseye, who was still waiting at the Ivy League school he'd held hostage. Daredevil performed the daring heist of a good amount of the gold at Fort Knox and transported it to the White House, where the President congratulated him. Daredevil then presented his photos of the Fort Knox heist, Polaroid instant-photos, to the Washington Post, and the news then circulated the news that the U.S. government employed the lone popular vigilante Daredevil to pull off a media stunt of daring proportions to lure Bullseye out of his hostage-lair at the Ivy League school, As the news broadcasted this challenge to Bullseye, Daredevil smiled, knowing that the criminal maniac and super-terrorist would now have to deal with him personally rather than creating dark tremors in the American landscape. BULLSEYE: "I'm not exactly sure what this strange media stunt involving the clever heist of the gold at Fort Knox by this bane of mine, Daredevil, achieves, but the news circulating this personal challenge he's posited to me has certainly cast me as someone who can be challenged! I'm thinking now that if I don't deal with this American crusader personally, I'll be considered some kind of lame-duck terrorist or meek villain, and that's not what I want. I'll release the Ivy League hostages and confront Daredevil on a Detroit rooftop at night, where we can see who is the better daredevil, as we finally engage in face-to-face combat! This is a time of great dark design." ==== {DAREDEVIL} © 2020 Abishai100 |
