V8

V8

A Story by Abishai100
"

The kingdoms of Gog and Magog are comprised of very different members and rulers and their two diplomats Cort and Eric have only one thing in common --- V8!

"
Can capitalism and consumerism save the world? What do you think? This vignette was inspired by the film Dracula 2000.

The two dominions of the new era were completely different. On one side stood the kingdom of Magog, a vampire-world of dark and sinister intelligence and capitalist ambition, colored by towers of smoke and machinery and controlled by a master of darkness named Eric. This was the dominion of ultimate Machiavellian consciousness.

The soldiers of Magog weren't shy to parade themselves as new age emissaries of the darkness their kingdom espoused. These drones and warlocks were representatives of a deep abyss of Satanic imagination, and they were fully integrated into the normal world of Starbucks, McDonald's and IBM. These vampire sentinels were reflective of the sheer deformity of Magog.

On the other side of the spectrum stood the more colored kingdom of Gog. This was a kingdom led by a regal foreign queen named Nina and her warrior-prince son Cort. Gog was a thing of jungle sensitivity and music and mathematical Christianity. There was no room for considerations of vanity or cruelty in the kingdom of Gog, because the members were diplomats of a classical notion of absolute democratic imagination. It was rumored, however, that Cort, like his more evil Magog counterpart Eric, was actually also a real-life vampire. Gog was a thing of primal innocence.

Cort liked to wear strange masks and walk around the US cities of Chicago and Seattle on Devil's Night, the night which fell before Halloween Eve, and patrol as a security officer and monarch of the peace. Cort carried a crossbow fitted with arrows containing tubes of holy-water which exploded upon contact. Cort's arrows pierced and shirked away vampires prowling around on Devil's Night seeking to make unholy mischief in the name of complete anarchy. Cort was therefore something like a masked crusader, defending the basic language of the kingdom of Gog.

Cort and Eric both drove a shiny red Lamborghini. This is what fanned the flames of the rumors that Cort, like his more evil Magog counterpart Eric, was a real-life vampire! Cort and Eric drove their red Lamborghini and considered themselves to be the prime princes of the Earth's yearning for the dual consciousness of Gog and Magog. Who would win this vampire duel was yet to be determined!

Cort and Eric both loved movies, and they especially loved Dracula movies. In fact, Cort and Eric both watched Dracula movies with their wives! This is the sort of entertainment that represented this completely new Earth aesthetic of Gog and Magog, one signifying a wholly ingestive form of radical metaphysics. If you appreciated the vampire Dracula and enjoyed folk-tales and movies about the vampire, you were sensitive about the reality of a drenched planet in the modern era.

One of Cort's wives was an advocate of the classical American canon of progressive democratic rhetoric and free-speech media in modern times. One of Eric's wives was a masked ninja-assassin who prowled around on Devil's Night seeking vulnerable young men to seduce and convert into vampires. Gog and Magog were therefore as different as night and day. So what's all the fuss with this great modern duality? Well, such a stark dualism speaks to a tangible dystopian consciousness, right?

ERIC: You won't win this kingdom engagement, Prince Cort.
CORT: I fear you underestimate the weight of social voice and public demand.
ERIC: What the hell are you talking about?
CORT: I'm referring to the undeniable universal appeal of beauty!
ERIC: Beauty, Cort?
CORT: Yes, beauty in the form of universally appealing Golems speaks to peace.
ERIC: Are you referring to comic books or something, Prince Cort?
CORT: I might be; in fact, a bat-girl superheroine speaks to Gog and Magog dialogue.
ERIC: Maybe.

Fortunately, both Cort and Eric really loved drinking V8 red vegetable/tomato juice, which was widely available in most any well-known American supermarket such as Shoprite and Acme. V8 offered consumers a quick and easy way to get veggies and tomatoes in the form of a liquid thick tasty juice, and therefore, it obviously reminded Cort and Eric of the vitality of blood itself! Cort was more eco-conscious, so V8 reminded him of the lightness of blood, but since Eric was more Machiavellian, V8 reminded him of the capital of Magog.

CNN: Whether or not Gog and Magog can be reconciled over some discussions about money remains to be seen in this new landscape of bloody fury, but perhaps because both Prince Cort and King Eric really seem to praise V8 tomato-juice in the media, we can find unique commercial highways in this emerging dystopian planet, which is good news for the wives and consorts of the dart-mouth Cort and Eric!
