CIA lady officer V.I. Warshawski tracks a terrorist-trio of Algerian brothers who've become 'friends' of the IRA in Belfast seeking to perform a deranged bank heist!

Here's a heist-fable themed vignette about new age Irish politics, inspired by the film Patriot Games and reflective of my overall and continuing interest on the dangerously ignored Protestant-Catholic division in the modern global Christian community in the UK. Do we ignore the Protestant-Catholic problem in Northern Ireland and its impact on modern commercial traffic in Europe in preference for the more 'dioramic' petroleum-politics of Israel-Palestine? Three brothers from Algeria (Amlan/Simian/Rye) moved to Belfast (Northern Ireland) to enlist themselves as foreign underground operatives for P-IRA (Provisional Irish Republican Army). The IRA had for years created allies with members of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), but now, three Algerian thieves had become IRA friends in Belfast. The brothers called themselves the Golden Triangle ('GT'). The GT took an Aer Lingus flight from Algiers to Dublin and then a train to Belfast in the summer of 2021 to help the P-IRA coordinate an elaborate heist directed against English control of the UK.

AMLAN: I believe the greatest problem on the face of the Earth now is the deep Protestant-Catholic rift in Northern Ireland which has created a deep division among the modern world's two largest Christian denominations, a division overlooked because of the petroleum-politics of Israel-Palestine, and because my relatives were involved in the Algerian revolution against French colonial occupation, I empathize with the Irish grudge and want to become an ally to the Provisional struggle.

SIMIAN: I worked as a minor political figure in Algeria as a student, raising awareness of the historical impact of the Algerian revolution against French rule, and now I fly to Northern Ireland with my two brothers (my twins!), Amlan and Rye, to Belfast to help the Provisionals coordinate an elaborate heist meant to destabilize English authority in the United Kingdom media; I do this to bring more serious attention to the grave problem of the Protestant-Catholic rift in Northern Ireland.

RYE: I'm with my two brothers and we form the 'Golden Triangle' and seek to become Algerian 'friends' of the Provisional Irish Republican Army, hoping to plan an elaborate London bank heist to create a strong if sarcastic message about the need for more international monitoring of the troubles between the Irish Catholic minority and British Protestant majority weakly seeking to live side-by-side in Belfast but divided by socioeconomic disparities overlooked by Parliament and the global community, and this heist will bring more media commentary on the modern human perspective on wealth...and post-colonial depression!

The Golden Triangle ('GT') established themselves quickly in Northern Ireland as an ace squad of Algerian 'friends' of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (P-IRA). They ran messages and collected munitions and money in the black market and terrorism underground, hoping to provide the Irish rebels strong resources needed to build cogent bridges between themselves and Sinn Fein and British Parliament and reduce the 'unholy demand' for terrorism directed at civilian targets and retaliatory British police violence directed at Irish sympathizers. The GT now sought to carry out their other plan, to coordinate a fancy heist of London Bank (UK) to send the media the message that neglected socioeconomic disparity in Northern Ireland between Irish Catholics and British Protestants would not be unrecorded in a time of great capitalism globalization.

Despite the great idealism and youthful passion of the clever and resourceful GT brothers (Amlan/Simian/Rye) from Algeria and their work with P-IRA, the wily and intelligent American CIA officer V.I. Warshawski was now assigned to track down the brothers and bring them to English justice. V.I. believed that GT was well-intentioned in terms of using a clever bank-robbery to declare the weight of socioeconomic disparity between the Irish Catholic minority and British Protestant majority in Northern Ireland in a time of great capitalism globalization consciousness but that their method of terrorism and robbery was a sign of enduring anarchy in the UK, an undesirable anarchy that would only frustrate Sinn Fein, the legal and nonviolent and political face of Irish politics in Northern Ireland. The GT had sent a notice to the London Times declaring their intention to perform the London Bank robbery for the P-IRA, and that's when V.I. went to work to track down the Algerian brothers! V.I. was slick, imaginative, relentless, and seemingly all over the place for this crucial pursuit.

Meanwhile, P-IRA terrorists had blown up a British police station in Belfast and unwittingly created an explosion that resulted in undesirable civilian casualties in Northern Ireland! Now, the GT had to work fast to perform the London Bank robbery to deliver this clever message about capitalism neglect in Northern Ireland before the world media portrayed this new act of Belfast terrorism as another sign of the complete hopelessness of working with Protestant-Catholic political reforms through Parliament. The P-IRA terrorists sent a press apology declaring their regret over the explosion leading to accidental civilian deaths, but British police, intelligence, and CIA (V.I. Warshawski) were now committed to seeing this European terrorism come to an end so further more prioritized inter-religious political negotiations regarding capitalism complications regarding Israel-Palestine could continue. The GT didn't want the press to be able to use this new tragedy as a new excuse to further 'file away' the Protestant-Catholic 'problem' in Belfast in preference for the more 'news-worthy' Israel-Palestine problem.

The GT brothers walked into London Bank three months after they sent their daring proclamation that they'd successfully perform the symbolic heist. The GT brothers were wearing costumed priest-robes and fake mustaches and beards and wigs, pretending to be emissaries from the US government in London to spread positive words about capital and wealth in the new millennium. They then pulled out hand-guns strapped to the soles of their steel-tipped boots and explained they'd be performing a 'fake heist' of the London Bank as a media stunt meant to downplay the terrorist threat paranoia created by the London Times robbery declaration sent by the GT brothers!

The bank manager and tellers and customers laughed and cheered as the GT brothers, costumed as undetected priests, were escorted into the bank's gold vault-room. The GT brothers stuffed about $60 million worth in gold bars into their duffel-bags and walked out of the bank escorted by the bank manager himself and boarded the passenger double-decker bus which arrived right in front of the bank on time. They took the bank manager to a barren field instead of the news station headquarters of the London Times where the manager thought they were headed and explained to the shocked manager that they themselves were indeed the GT brothers! They gave the manager a photo of them holding the gold and then fled back to Belfast and hid back in the P-IRA underground.

The heist made such headlines that there was a sudden social demand in the UK for the re-release of the vintage robbery/heist film The Getaway. Film posters for the re-release event in UK theaters were posted all over London and Belfast. The London Times wrote, "If the GT brothers intended to use bank robbery to bring some entertaining media attention to the capitalism hypnosis regarding socioeconomic complexity in the modern world, their clever and confounding stunt-mimicry heist of London Bank has certainly created a new social interest in storytelling regarding a natural human yearning to use daring to express angst towards dystopian bureaucracy, but hopefully, all this circus diarism will result in a dialogue of Belfast terrorism!" V.I. Warshawski (CIA) was however unimpressed.

Ironically, the media and social buzz continued regarding the GT brothers daring and clever and symbolic heist of the London Bank in the UK. V.I. Warshawski (CIA) cleverly induced that the GT brothers would use this opportunity to create some kind of capitalism 'marketing scheme' to further highlight the colorfulness of their symbolic bank heist. She deduced they might even use Aer Lingus (Ireland's national commercial passenger airline company!) as a banner for this post-heist media marketing campaign. Indeed, the GT brothers were using Internet and mail to send images and toys and models of Aer Lingus merchandise and items to civilians and officials all over the UK, suggesting that consumerism in the modern world could be both sociocultural...and entertaining! However, V.I. knew this would only create more unholy terrorism and undesirable retaliatory frustration-induced British police violence in Belfast! V.I. used the Aer Lingus marketing tracks to track down the GT brothers. Until now, no one knew who was behind this anonymous Aer Lingus product mailings in the UK.

GT: How the hell did you catch us, lady officer?
V.I.: I simply used your Aer Lingus mailing trail to find you in the United Kingdom!

GT: We did what we did to bring more spotlight on capitalism problems in Northern Ireland.

V.I.: New terrorism challenges will not directly address the challenge of Israel-Palestine nepotism.

GT: How else can we get the world to care about Protestant-Catholic troubles in Belfast, lady officer?

V.I.: You three Algerian brothers are clever but overly-passionate; we need more peaceful negotiations.

GT: We had a hell of a street gun-fight in Belfast, eh, lady officer?

V.I.: I noticed the photos they took of me in my jacket and armed with my rifle!
GT: We made you a political celebrity!

V.I.: Yeah, well, I'd rather be considered a Pat Garrett.

Would the GT brothers go down in history as basic marauders or clever allies of the Provisional Irish Republican Army? V.I. Warshawski (CIA) knew that as long as loud deeds in Northern Ireland that led to more terrorism and frustration-induced retaliatory British police violence, the neglect of Protestant-Catholic divisions in Belfast would continue. Israel-Palestine would simply be considered a more 'civil' inter-religious issue! That's why the CIA was confident that their supreme 'lady officer' V.I. Warshawski would go down in record as the intelligence officer and peacekeeper who was able to reign in the 'drama' of the otherwise quite diabolical GT brothers (Amlan/Simian/Rye). How do you think such a news-story will shape global views on the dementia between Protestants and Catholics in the United Kingdom?
