Ermac/Jade: Cyber-DistilleryA Story by Abishai100Two video-game fans challenge the sociocultural mystique of Leatherface!
Here's a video-game vignette about modernism scaling. Signing off I think,
==== Two video-game geniuses, almost perfect in their mastery over combat games, especially Mortal Kombat, decided to convene at a gaming conference to compete in a MKX tournament featuring the iconic Americah horror avatar Leatherface, the chainsaw-wielding cannibal from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. These two video-game geniuses were Isaac Satan and Daisy Ritley, two Ivy League teachers! Isaac and Daisy donned the video-game identities of Ermac and Jade from the Mortal Kombat video-game tournament at the gaming conference. Ermac, a warlock, and Jade, a princess-warrior were opposites but were very similar and equally-capable of challenging Leatherface! Of course, donning the identities of these characters really required you to become immersed into the universe of video-game consciousness. You literally started to feel like you were some kind of cyber-prodigy when you donned the MKX identities of Ermac and Jade, which is why Isaac and Daisy felt like they were actually inside a computer or machine grid! Leatherface made a huge splash in the Mortal Kombat universe. This modern combat video-game media franchise presents very unusual warrior avatars engaged in very graphic forms of martial-arts combat and sometimes Centurion-like fighting in various environments and sometimes just 1-1 or sometimes in group competitions. The Mortal Kombat X (MKX) tournament Isaac ('Ermac') and Daisy ('Jade') participated in was quite thrilling and presented Leatherface as the ultimate adversary. Leatherface's chainsaw and human-skin mask made him something like a complete underworld gargoyle! Jade softened up Leatherface with quick-footed fighting using her large baton-staff weapon before Ermac popped in to provoke the beast with various energy balls of green fire. At the end, Leatherface was reduced to the level of bewildered Frankenstein, which is just what Isaac and Daisy hoped. After all, it was no simple feat to out-brain Leatherface! Other participants at the MKX video-game tournament/conference were found in various masks and costumes and cheering on Leatherface or his challengers. Everyone wanted to see just how the American psycho would do against a horde of ambitious video-game prodigies donning all kinds of dicey avatars! You might even imagine that this sort of Leatherface challenge might inspire new generations of comic book writers exploring why traditional superheroes like Batman (DC Comics) might outwit and even demystify the costumed Leatherface! At the video-game conference, Isaac ('Ermac') and Daisy ('Jade') noticed a man in a Batman outfit debating with a horror-comics fan in a Leatherface costume. This debate was about the structure of real imagination and was quite incendiary! BATMAN: You're a real psycho. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Do you think you're a messenger of Hell? LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Well, this video-game tournament challenges your mystique. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: I think you'll be dethroned by Ermac. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: I doubt you think much about Microsoft marketing. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: I doubt you care who's donned the Jade identity in the video-game. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: It's no wonder modern horror-comics imagination is all about criminality. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Maybe modernism is all about anarchy grid manifestations in traffic imagery. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: I sense you're meeting attractive young women in comics costumes for video-game play. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Well, one of these angels will draw you towards downfall, Leatherface. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Do you really think this is a Zodiac sign of human characterizations of morality? LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Video-games encourage nonviolence meditation in modern times. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Imagination in modernism should be about beauty and not about vanity. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! BATMAN: Thanks for this incredibly virtual conversation, Leatherface. LEATHERFACE: Woo!!! Isaac Satan went on to attend dozens of other MKX video-game combat tournaments, donning new masks and costumes while fighting and challenging Leatherface as the unusual MKX warrior-avatar warlock Ermac. Over time, Ermac began challenging the general 'dart-mouth' throne of Leatherface! DAISY: I seriously believe all this modernism video-game marketing will turn Leatherface into a household terrorist! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes)
