Lantern/FirestarA Story by Abishai100Green Lantern and Firestar become a romantic superhero couple, dealing with problems together and sharing the ones they fight on their own.
Alright, I'm signing off with a light-hearted comic book romance between Green Lantern (DC Comics) and Firestar (Marvel Comics). Thanks everyone,
==== Prince Shah was thinking of ways to help humanity. He became the superhero Green Lantern. He wielded a magical ring and a power-lantern that rendered him invincible. Now Shah/Lantern wanted to find a wife. First, he had to choose the right crusade to feel like a real prince and knight. He was pensive as he looked into the mirror. Shah/Lantern met a beautiful woman at the beach named Angelica Jones. She was a perfect maiden. She was also secretly the American superheroine known as Firestar, but Shah/Lantern didn't know. Shah and Angelica Jones fell in love. They got married. Shah then told Angelica he was the mighty Green Lantern. Shah told his new wife Angelica that as the Lantern, he helped various human civilization groups such as the Irish Catholic minority living in Northern Ireland and facing social rights fears during the Coronavirus quarantine. Shah explained he used his magical power ring to deliver the Irish Catholic minority wondrous media imagery during the quarantine so they'd feel like they had more imaginative access to social drawings. Angelica was so impressed that she confessed to Shah/Lantern that she was indeed the American superheroine known as Firestar. Firestar had helped the Texas police apprehend a venomous masked serial-killer and cannibal known as Leatherface by surrounding him with a ring of fire. Shah/Lantern was now even more in love with his wife. Lantern and Firestar made an immaculate couple, and Lantern even made a painting of Firestar for an Internet blog about the appeal of real heroism. Firestar had a special wrist-watch made for her new husband Lantern. This watch would symbolize her commitment to him and his commitment to her. Together, they'd help humanity and become an idealized couple for journalists. This was the American Dream in a real tangible way --- the celebration of real heroism. The Lantern watch was something Shah would always cherish. Lantern built Firestar a customized green Lamborghini car, which Firestar was very impressed by and decided to drive around in a good deal in the summer of 2025 with Lantern. This car became a symbol of the hot romance the two superhuman figures in America shared. The press called this car a modern-day marvel. Lantern and Firestar next worked together to stop a deadly arsonist in NYC who was trying to create panic in America about the trauma of 9/11. This maniac wanted people to feel unhinged about the worry that modern terrorism could be a thing of great scale and shivers. Lantern and Firestar created an energy cage and a fire-wave around this pyromaniac and basically prevented him from burning down Central Park. This was a great moment in American law enforcement. Shah told Angelica the reason he helped the Irish Catholic minority in Northern Ireland was because he was a great fan of Irish folk-tales and mythology and wanted the community in Belfast to feel more optimistic during the Coronavirus quarantine. Angelica realized her husband had a peculiar Irish taste for all things green, even though he was Asian-Indian by ethnicity. This was unusual though romantic! Shah was also a fan of lacrosse and took Angelica to various college lacrosse games in the summer of 2026. They shared the fanfare in the student stadiums and were grateful for the institutional securities from modern terrorism in America. Lantern and Firestar shared many hobbies and interests while married, especially college lacrosse. Lantern traveled to Spain to deal with a new crime syndicate known as Stanford, and while he was away fighting alone, he purchased Firestar a video-phone on which he'd call her regularly so he could converse with her while she'd see his face in real-time. This would make them feel closer together while he was fighting raw evil. Lantern made Firestar a series of graphite prints of comic book superheroes/heroines to commemorate his special love of his new wife. They spent quality time together and these comics prints reflected their devotion to each other. Was this magical love between Lantern and Firestar akin to the evolution of the human species itself? Would their sacred dinners on Valentine's Day be remembered as symbols of social delight by archaeologists? LANTERN: Our first commitment is to fighting raw evil, Angelica. FIRESTAR: Our second is the interest in sharing fortunes together, my prince! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes)
