Mia Hamm agreed to do the Christmas soccer sweater marketing campaign for her new merchandising expert friend who wanted to take advantage of the post-pandemic relief and global optimism. After all, women's sports had come a long way in the age of modern media and video. Hamm hand-signed numerous digital-art printed Christmas soccer sweaters which would be sold at Target, WalMart, KMart, and Ross department stores across America for the post-pandemic holiday season.
