A daring vigilante named Ajay Satan becomes the underworld crusader named 'Nightwing' and attempts to help human beings deal with the dagger of hell during the Coronavirus pandemic!

Here's a fun Nightwing (DC Comics) fan-fiction about new age Coronavirus pandemic despair, inspired by the dark film Blade II, which I hope will serve to remind everyone of the value of democracy in this time of great danger. Thanks so much for reading (signing off),

"Ajay Satan was an Internet-blogging self-proclaimed 'democracy-defending vigilante' who was writing about free-speech values in the modern age of Internet and networks. When the Coronavirus pandemic became global in 2020, Ajay Satan hit the streets as the urban vigilante known as Nightwing, a costumed 'superhero' dedicated to eradicating random criminal insanity in a time when medical concerns needed to come before basic instincts for sin. Ajay Satan was a real knight!"

"Ajay (aka, 'Nightwing') knew that the greatest threat to urban stability during the Coronavirus pandemic was the Russian underworld in the troubled city of Moscow. Moscow was reeling ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union, and today, the city was bubbling with crime and nefarious underworld groups, including a deadly vampire clan known as Red Hood, led by a vicious 'siren' woman named Medusa. Ajay/Nightwing decided to travel to Moscow to see if Medusa and Red Hood intended to conflagrate some terrible modern urban hellfire to make Coronavirus quarantine governance altogether frustrating and discovered that Medusa was indeed planning some kind of evil diorama."

"Ajay/Nightwing rode around Moscow (Russia) late at night on his handy-dandy silver Vespa nitro-boosted scooter-bike, which he named/called the Viper. Nightwing took his Viper everywhere around Moscow and wielded an awesome sword called Excalibur which folded out from a small blade fitted and hidden neatly in his leather pants. As Nightwing trekked around the Moscow underworld on his Vespa Viper and wielding his magic sword Excalibur, he wanted to be certain that his night rides would ensure the world that the Coronavirus was the greatest interest to humanity and not sin. Nightwing's Viper scooter-bike became a symbol of modern divinity."

"Ajay/Nightwing took his sword Excalibur to deal with a gang of vampires of the Red Hood gang sent by their evil ministress Medusa to create urban hell one late Saturday night and swiftly decapitated the heads of the vampires in that dark alley where the vampires were lurking! Nightwing folded his sword Excalibur and neatly hid it back in his leather pants and looked up at the night-sky and prayed to God for a final solution to this modern hell of disease and darkness."

"Medusa was furious and sent some of her more ugly minions known as Knockaround Guys (the 'KG's') to confront Nightwing (Ajay Satan) on his Viper Vespa scooter-bike and beat him to death before he was able to unfold his hidden sword Excalibur to decapitate them! When the KGs faced Nightwing one Sunday morning on a clear frozen field outside Moscow, they were stunned to realize that the superhero was carrying smoke-bombs which he used to disorient the thugs before hopping on his scooter-bike to evade them completely! He never looked back."

"As the aura of Moscow slowly began to look and feel more humane and sane, Nightwing realized his mission was going successfully! Nightwing knew that the challenge of dealing with anarchy in the modern city during a great Plague required a direct focus on the presence of the Leviathan, a symbol of dragon-like chaos and fear. Nightwing called the Moscow politicians and informed them that their city would one day be a haven for medical detention."

"Medusa grew more frustrated but watched as her dominion shrank and her power diminished. She wondered what she could've done to swerve the valiant Nightwing off his missionary cause, but she'd already failed! Now, Medusa considered the profitability of selling Eastern sarees on the black-market, made with illegally procured silks from Asia, as an alternative to underworld crime during the Coronavirus pandemic. Medusa realized she was somehow 'dummied' by Nightwing."

"An artist decided to respond to the incredible heroics of Nightwing by creating daring paintings and images of human beings enduring the Coronavirus pandemic with great flair and wit. These artworks were now laid out over the streets of Moscow, Paris, London, and Frankfurt. Ajay Satan ('Nightwing') noticed these cool artworks and thanked God that there were forces and minds out there focused on the despair of the modern malady!"

"Ajay decided to commission this same artist to render a cool blue portrait or painting of him as the heroic Nightwing. When the artist completed the rendering, Ajay Satan ('Nightwing') was thrilled with how it captured a general human interest in the contours of muscular devotion and decided to post the photo on an Internet blog back in the USA about the value of design in times of terrible global darkness."

AJAY/NIGHTWING: "I wonder if all this modern malady talk is really bringing humanity to the forefront of spiritual awakening and compelling us as a species to ponder if divinity really is the signpost for new age democracy!"
