The Plague Rivalry

"

Two Coronavirus 'ministers' are tangled in an online contest to see whose brand of pandemic-time optimism holds more definition for American civilization!

"
Alright, here's one more idealistic Coronavirus prayer-parable, and this last one (I promise!) was inspired by the film And the Band Played On. Thanks so much for reading,

Ajay Satan was working on a media advertisement campaign about Coronavirus pandemic optimism with a major media celebrity and decided he'd make Internet blogs which would cast him as a modern-day knight.

The media celebrity helping Ajay was a prominent American actress who'd worked on important socially symbolic films and was well-known in fashion circles and hence whose opinion was respected by those evaluating customs and trends in American culture.

Ajay took a painting of a prominent centurion from older times and cast it as a symbol of Coronavirus pandemic courage, suggesting that it might encourage youngsters to think bravely about human posture in times of great mobilization. Ajay's media celebrity ally and friend helped Ajay by commenting on the blog which featured the Centurion painting and implying that the centurion in the painting perhaps represented timeless human divinity!

However, a rival decided to also make blogs about Coronavirus pandemic optimism. This rival was an Italian fashion industry celebrity who'd also worked on soap operas and wanted to do a special Internet feature on General Hospital pertinent to Coronavirus fears heading into the summer of 2020.

This Italian celebrity named Paolo had a gorgeous gypsy girlfriend named Maria who wanted to help Paolo make blogs that would challenge the blogs of Ajay Satan. Paolo and Maria made blogs that were much more colorful and exciting, suggesting that modern times required more creative approaches to social mobilization rather than traditional perspectives on the grandeur of old world paintings! Paolo and his girlfriend Maria were therefore creating a significant online challenge.

Paolo drove a slick gray Lamborghini car and kept it in the garage of his apartment building in New York. He sometimes let his girlfriend Maria drive the car in the city at night. Paolo blogged on the Internet and told people that having access to this Lamborghini represented a person's defiance and willingness to live life fully despite the terror of the Coronavirus.

More and more artists were creating dramatic depictions of human beings enduring the Coronavirus pandemic. These artworks were sensual, dramatic, graphic, expressive, medical, cultural, political, and even humorous! How would the online rivalry between Ajay and Paolo play out in this Coronavirus creativity mosaic and artistic dialogue grid which could possibly help human beings focus more on the survival aspects of virus transcendence?

Ajay decided to pull out a stroke of genius by posting a photo of a simple yellow-colored water pistol on one of his Coronavirus prayer blogs on the Internet! This water-gun was yellow in color and hence represented simplified or even humbled imagination and courage and could therefore be cited in a discussion about the tangibility of divinity in times of great social depression. Ajay realized he'd found the right diameter for his special online Coronavirus contest with the daring Paolo.

AJAY: My blog featuring the yellow water-gun is quite popular now!
PAOLO: It's a clever trick, young man, but Americans still crave intrigue.
AJAY: There's a time for daring and a time for modesty, Paolo!
PAOLO: Well, right now people crave stories about basic vitality, no?
AJAY: Sure, but my yellow water-gun symbolizes simplified imagination!
PAOLO: Perhaps that's correct, but artists should continue to make daring images of courage.
AJAY: Coronavirus fears require both courage and patience, Paolo.
PAOLO: Well, perhaps we've both contributed in some way to this vital mosaic, Ajay.
AJAY: I agree; we're both 'ministers' of pandemic-time dilemma.
PAOLO: I'll drink to that!
